I need an advice on this.
I have 2 options for the iPhone X:D 1. Ordering the iPhone X from John Lewis tomorrow at 8am
2. Waiting till Saturday to reserve iPhone X for in store pick up at 6am

I have just called DPD though the app and they couldn’t “upgrade” the delivery time as he said for this specific parcel! We will get an allocated time slot tomorrow and that’s it...nothing we can do before then!

I don’t know how the rest did it but it smells like “FAKE NEWS” to me

It is the extract question that I was going to ask. At least we will know the time delivery slot. I have an impression with UPS last time. I was waiting for a new phone at home all day. They came, dropped a card, and disappeared.

Does the Apple logo stand out well with the leather?
Yes, the Apple logo is better defined on the X case vs the 6S case

Does anybody know if DPD will allow me to choose to pick up from a location tomorrow when they collect the parcel? Reason being because even if I pay the 10£ for delivery it still shows between 12-6 which is no good to me.

Spoke to Three. They are maintaining that the maximum date I will get it is the 10th - however if they have stock to fulfil it then I will get it tomorrow. But I will only know between 8-10am when I get a text from DPD. Pretty annoying not know but nothing more can be done.

My DPD tracking has just updated saying:

We have your parcel, and it's on its way to your local depot in Dunstable

Your estimated delivery date is Friday, 03 November 2017, as requested we will deliver your parcel between 06:00 and 22:00

I hope they still give me a 1 hour slot in the morning!

It's the "As requested" part which means Apple (or DPD) have disabled the ability to pay to upgrade your order for an earlier time.

Still no text or email from DPD.

The tracking number on Apple.com works though: "02 Nov 2017 09:45 Hinckley Your parcel is on its way"

god knows how you managed to do that, apple just outright told me its not possible and DPD said not possible too, contact apple if you want it changed

DPD have my package now, but no option to upgrade. I have the same "requested" message which I don't normally see on my deliveries, so I agree that it is probably disabled.

Anyone else having theirs delivered from Snetterton depot? Wondering if my iPhone has any buddies on the journey lol.

its the standard UK plug :(

Awww bummer. Defo Apple Watch only thing. Should include with iPhone by now and people far more likely need charge iPhone when out than Apple Watch and folding pin plug make it nice easy for travel put in backpack.

I’ve lost my Apple Watch one. Gutted because it was great for chucking in my handbag.

That plug is great. My friend have Apple Watch and he show to me. I like awesome! Nothing like some cheap one I see before. Nice and solid. Shame you lost yours. :(
