Given we’re in the 3rd official day of reservations going live, it’s going to be a long wait before we see any amount of stock filtering through.
I had a 2-3 week last year for my 7+ and I never managed to snag a phone in the reservations last year before the delivered handset turned up

Then the learn more on the IUP notice the shows up near the top on the next page
Then join
Then select the phone
And this takes you to the same page as the link
I didn’t realise that the app came live at 6am the same as the link I used.
Do you think it’s slower going through those pages than using the link?
I’ve never got past the first page in the link as the phones have gone too quickly.
If people were thinking that a few odd ones might appear, I’m puzzled by the quantity of ‘screw Apple, this is really annoying, what a waste of time’ comments that suggest the opposite.
Just because one or two said "screw Apple", that doesn't mean they speak for everyone else does it?
Can't see them, just tells me to try again at 6... Apple shouldn't be favouring one payment option to another, I could collect from any of those London stores and part with my pounds but nooooo....
Just phoned John Lewis to verify the above. The above unfortunately includes display models eg. the one in Brent Cross. They confirmed there is stock in Birmingham as per the 5 above.

Customer services open 7-midnight every day
If you dial the store number it takes you to a centralised team who are able to check stocks.
It's interesting because I called customer services and they told me there is one in stock in Brent Cross. I was ready to race over there but I thought let me call the store direct. Won't be able to get through to the store until 10am so the line transfers you to a central store team who checked for me and confirmed it was a display model. Had I not made the second call I would be waiting outside the front door right now.

I cannot get on the upgrade program reservations without an existing upgrade program membership though can I? I just get diverted to the back at 6am page otherwise.Considering Oxford Street is the flagship, I wonder if they would have 2 display models? I guess that would make sense

Bad news guys, Oxford Street London and Kingston JL have zero. But I did learn they get exactly 767 units on the 10th. Could be out 13-20th deliveries too? Or as customers of Apple we do not matter as much as JL customers
Is there any way you could intercept if the listing is a display model or not? The guy on the phone said it was clear from the stock listing.
Anyone can check if there is any stock for Silver 256GB in Birmingham area? I’m an existing IUP member but already have a reserve for next 18th Nov. As i have the reserve I’m not able to see the stock and I’m afraid to cancel and not able to get later.
