Did you get an email about your cancellation?
No, never received an email about cancellation. Had to login to my online account to see that it had been cancelled. Argos just say it depends how quickly people’s banks process the funds back to customers
 
That's fair, annoying for those that need to wait but repairs just have to take priority if they had you waiting that would be awful-er!
yeah exactly, they didn't have stock for a full unit replacement of new box and that, but they have phones at the bar for repairs, doesn't matter to me if the serial on box matches the phone. as long as it works
 
Well the way this is going it'll probably be here before I get my hands on anything else haha! I'm fortunate enough to have a bit of spare cash lying around at the minute so I have enough to keep that running and keep searching elsewhere in the mean time even if that means paying for another and then asking for a refund from Argos. I'd like to find one somewhere else because I'm still bitter about their lies and don't want to give them my money but I cannot see any other options at the minute :(
yeh I've spent a fortune over the years at Argos but they pulled a blinder with that stunt.... I have one on order with apple 13th - 20th so gunna see which one turns up first and cancel the other. I bet they get despatched within minutes of each other LOL

Yea lol that’s what I thought I will feel like but after seeing phone I want one desperately.

They can call me Apple fan or whatever but I don’t care lol

Just a note for people who cancelled their Argos orders last Friday. I’ve had my refund, so if you haven’t already your money should be back with you soon.

Mine's refunded too, or at least disappeared from pending transactions.
Rather childishly I reserved an expensive TV for store collection and didn't turn up to collect it. Made me feel better, anyway.

looks like a lot of our Nordic cousins on the European thread are still waiting on a change to the 13-20 deliveries... looks like there'll be a a huge amount of stock heading to europe soon!.


that or they'll stagger it out across the full 7 day window for delivery :(
 
No movement on my order yet - 13-20 :(

I feel like I am spending way too much time looking at John Lewis's site and my apple order and wishfully thinking something will change :D

Thanks for the heads-up. I've not had mine yet, but it will take longer depending on which bank you're with and when the refund was actually processed by Argos.
 
As did a 256 space gray. Hopefully they’ll let me pay outright rather than in instalments.

Quoting from their live chat as I remember it “we process refunds quickly, but we say 5-7 working days due to banks different systems.” Seems like more passing the buck really
