Just refreshing the iUP page on the Apple Store app - it let me in randomly.
I’m already an iup customer. Checked multiple times this morning and about 30 mins ago a 256gb in space gray became available.In relation to this I want to know if they'd make you pay for the AppleCare that comes bundled with the price of an IUP. That's the only reason I can think of why they won't release these phones for general reservation is that IUP comes with an extra £199 attached and business is business

Also, how are you planning on making a reservation? I would give this a punt myself but not being an existing IUP customer I can't get on to the reservations page after 6am. Are you already an IUP customer or have you got a mate who is?
I take the risk to cancel my reservation for next 18th November .. and try to get an early appointment through exiting IUP ... It looks like there are more stock for existing IUP customers .. we will see
.. otherwise I'm pretty sure next Friday it will be more stock for everyone.
This is somewhat frustrating as I want to get the iPhone on the iUP but seems they dont even let you get to apply online for one... makes no sense.

To clarify my previous post, I'm not on the iUP programme yet, I'm trying to join as well. When there's stock available it lets me in. Don't give up
It’s not right that people not on iUP can’t get the X so easily. I understand that iUP people might have preference, but what about those who would have joined but for whatever reason don’t want or can’t get finance. (And no, I haven’t been declined finance, I’d just rather put it on CC and pay it off in full at the end of the month.) There are many people who upgrade most or even every year but pay in full, why are they now missing out on these phones becoming available.
For myself I don’t even want the X this year, but reading this thread it seems many people are not getting the available phones just because they don’t want finance.

I would guess they will arrive before the 10th as the stock presumably has to be sorted into Apple Store, Online orders and third party retailer stock. I’m guessing it all goes to Hinckley and is distributed from thereHad this too, probably speculation about what it would need to arrive on the 13th
I did manage to get from JL CS that they are expecting over 700 units on the 10th - wonser if that’s when our phines will arrive in the UK!

It’s about iup member being able to reserve a phone. They can still keep their upgrade option open if the reserved phone is paid for in full.
My iPhone X (256GB SG) turned up this morning (kudos to JL for coming through).
Have to say I'm totally in love with it. Feels quite light to me. The screen quality is pretty impressive but as others have mentioned, it's so much better without the true tone turned on. Edge-to-edge display is another thing I love.
I have to say I thought I'd miss the home button but I have to say, for me it's so much better and feels completely natural.
Didn't really take much time/effort to get used to the gestures.
All in all, I think this is money well spent. Need to test the camera quality out in different conditions but a quick snap I took earlier side by side with my iPhone 7 shows the X has so much more quality, be interested to see how it does in low light conditions and what not.
Got a case and a screen protector coming tomorrow so for now I'm being so vigilant as to not drop/scratch it.

Dammit just got a notification off iStockNow about a 256gb silver at the Trafford Centre but I must have missed it. I wonder if when iStockNow finds a phone it goes into the IUP or general reservation pool or neither

They don't make you. When you go they ask if you want to join IUP, pay using iPhone Payment Plan or pay outright
Carphone Warehouse delivery estimates on their site have now slipped to the 17th. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing with regards to my order.
