Walk-in stock and reservation stock are the same pool. If everyone is snagging the stock for reservations as soon as it goes into store inventory, then you have better odds of winning the lottery than getting an X by walking into a store.Do you think Apple will have walk in stock?
Do you think Apple will have walk in stock?
Let me know how you get on with this, considering doing the sameI take the risk to cancel my reservation for next 18th November .. and try to get an early appointment through exiting IUP ... It looks like there are more stock for existing IUP customers .. we will see.. otherwise I'm pretty sure next Friday it will be more stock for everyone.
Ok mate I will let u know, so far not 256GB Silver one stock around birmingham, I’ve seen some 64GB but not interested on thisLet me know how you get on with this, considering doing the same
Dammit just got a notification off iStockNow about a 256gb silver at the Trafford Centre but I must have missed it. I wonder if when iStockNow finds a phone it goes into the IUP or general reservation pool or neither![]()
Great questionMy reseller store told me on Friday they will get deliveries today, but I went today and they said they will get it this week but they don’t know which day and that they will call me when they have my unit.
More waiting....
They don't make you. When you go they ask if you want to join IUP, pay using iPhone Payment Plan or pay outright
You don't get to choose between FaceID or Touch ID. The operating system seems them as one, so depending on whether you use iPhone 5S - iPhone 8/8+ or iPhone X, the operating system uses TouchID or FaceID. The apps don't specifically ask for TouchID or FaceID, they just ask for biometric authentication and the operating system uses whatever underlying biometric hardware that is available and sends the result of the authentication back to the app.
If what you're saying is true, then it seems like those apps are simply disabling biometric authentication on the X, as they can't choose to disable FaceID and enable TouchID, they have to completely disable biometric authentication if they detect the app is running on the X.
HSBC’s app is so terrible I’m pretty sure it’s because their touchID functionality wasn’t implemented correctly. There was even an FT article on how bad it is. Glad I left. That’s probably what’s happening. The Touch ID worked just fine in the app on my 7 Plus. There doesn’t seem to be any option to use Face ID as a replacement in the app on my iPhone X. So I’m thinking HSBC has disabled it as the app is detecting I have an iPhone X.
Stock pouring in at Argos stores nationwide, is this accurate? From what we learned this morning, this could be the display devices.
We got confirmation from @DesperateTraveller that Birmingham stock is real.
Stock pouring in at Argos stores apparently, anyone mind giving one a call?
