Every time I've tried to sign up for the iUP it's told me to check back at 0600.

I've lost track now whether I needed to do this only when there is availability or...?

Just bear in mind if you do use this, you have to pay outright as they’re expecting a phone in return

Still nothing from Argos on any apology and 10% discount. I haven't cancelled my order, would be a bit off if they gave the discount to those that cancelled but not those that chose to stick it out!

I tried for the person who pmd/messaged me first but unfortunately I got the attached message. I can still check stock though if that helps. Happy to check in the morning. Good luck guys.

Not true if you're talking about what I think you are. I reserved one on my upgrade plan from a 7 today for my brother (SG 256GB). Went in, told them my brother wanted a new IUP and I wasn't trading mine back and they sorted it out without any issues.

Have faith, we have to :/ if it’s just my store I do apologise in advance, hoping it only updates at midnight
[doublepost=1510008462][/doublepost]London stores anyone? Silver?

For me the issue isn’t waiting, it’s the fact that when they announce pre-orders they always say “on a first come first served basis”, while it seems that what they really mean is “first come first served until the launch day stock runs out, after that it’s a free for all”. There is no point having pre-orders if you are then going to fulfil orders placed weeks afterwards before you fulfil the pre-orders IMHO. In fact I’d go as far as to say that if you try and pre-order and don’t get launch day delivery you might as well cancel the pre-order and take your chances on one of the other routes because you’ll almost certainly get it faster.
Agreed. No need to stop pre-orders for a week just to re-open to a free for all.

Why not continue taking orders, continue forming the queue, then stock to where it’s needed?

Planning on getting up extra early tomorrow to try and reserve one in London.

Ordered 8:10 on the 27th. Screw waiting until December for it to arrive.

13/20 pre-orders

So we should be getting ours next week.. yet nobody's seem to be dispatched yet? Thought they were coming from China ::/

Anyone been in the scenario where they paid for the phone by credit card, and then changed to the iUP in store when going to collect it, only to find that Apple haven’t refunded the money onto their credit card?

If so, was it easy to take care of? I’m seeing that now, I’m on the iUP, but still see the £1149 charge on my credit card.

I’m going in past the Apple shop today to buy a case anyway, but wondered if anyone else had been in this situation?

Cheers
