Order for 13-20 has just changed to preparing for dispatch

Usual Apple Pay payment failure, go to Apple order status website to update details, try reauthorising and every other card I have, authorisation fails for all of them even though they are all working fine everywhere else. Any ideas?

So I guess either Friday or Monday delivery then! My 256GB Silver is also now preparing to dispatch. However, the 64GB SG which was ordered just seconds afterwards hasn't changed status yet.

Still no progress to PFD for me. Assuming they're doing them in batches, or first come first served, in which case I didn't get my order in until 08:11 on pre order day.

13-20 club here and no change in status or card charged yet either (there was a pending transaction last week so the card definitely works). Fingers crossed for some movement shortly!

I used Apple Pay. One thing to point out though is when I started ordering, I was set for delivery on the 3rd, but by the time it had gone through it had slipped to 13-20th. I must have only just been outside first shipment. SG 64GB.

-Pre-order notification 8.12am
-Payment via debit card (First Direct)
-Delivery to Central London (Work)
-Still no movement

Possibly another stupid question... Do Apple place a hold on the funds in the account once the order is made. Just I have money set aside for the X and would rather not have to use another whack of money if i get it another way.

Burst of Stock? They have never be any stock since 3rd Nov. Where is the burst of stock coming from?

China usually sorry not to be facetious, when stock will come in it won’t be the odd phone here or there. Logistically it will be pallet(s) worth which a target distribution in mind. When that happens is anyone’s guess
