A colleague at work ordered on that day for delivery on Monday. He got a call from Argos saying he should be expecting a delivery. On the day it never turned up.

Yeah, I found a 64gb SG at Highcross yesterday at 10.08am. Too far away for me to collect so posted it on here :)
 
So jealous! Wish I was in 13-20 date lol I am further down 24.11-1.12 seems like I am the only one
 
I suppose its worth sticking an order in on the app for the 3-4 wait since they dont charge right away, in the hope I get a reservation or a John Lewis order in the mean time

That's what I did. Got two on order at Apple, delivery 28th Nov - 5th Dec. Hoping to get a reservation or JL order before that. It's what I did last year for a jet black 7 plus and managed to get a reservation so fingers crossed.
