Would have been about 10:45. Received a text at that time from anti-fraud at my bank. Resolved that by 10:50-ish and it flipped (edit) shortly after.
It's really great seeing everyone's orders updating! Does anyone have any info on Carphone Warehouse orders? My delivery date is the 10th but all these updates for later delivery dates might mean it comes sooner! (it should be going via DPD).
No idea, but do let us know if you manage to get one - I'd be interested to see if they have more stock around
Yeah I've got an order with Currys due by the 17th Nov. Haven't seen a single other person who has ordered with Currys though (I got 10% discount), but I would've guessed Currys orders would just come out of the Carphone batches.
DPD Tracking info just updated, the warehouse is located in Hinckley. So all orders should be sent out from there.
I ordered from Apple on release day as soon as the store popped up on the app for me, got confirmation for 256GB Silver for 13th-20th delivery, then managed to get one from Carphone Warehouse for 3rd delivery. The first one arrived on Friday which I sold on Saturday for a little profit to help fund the second one... I thought why not since I have another one coming anyway, just need to wait max 2 weeks to get it, then today mine gets update to dispatched and arriving tomorrow! Happy days!
Yeah I would assume so, too. They are both under the 'Dixons' company. Maybe we will get lucky and be included in this recent batch!
Have to say kudos to DPD. Their app and logistics is very well done.
Just spoke to someone at Argos again as I’m always misinformed. The lady I spoke to confirmed information from previous posts that Argos is expecting a delivery tomorrow morning. She stated that the people who pre ordered and people which ordered on the 3rd has priority. She said that she doubt delivery for customers will come tomorrow as once it comes they need to label it and process it. I was advised that an email should be sent out regarding delivery for item or text in the morning.
Hope this information is useful. It would be great if others called and asked so we can weigh out how valid the information actually is.

So for people like me who are still waiting for an update who ordered at 8:07 for Delivery on 13th-20th Nov... I'm thinking of arranging a 'raid party' in person... Outside the DPD depo? Balaclavas recommended. Anyone want in?
i a guessing no one got PFD after the 11Am ish point .. so no more for delivery tomorrow.
we may get PFD tomorrow and delivered on Thursday though
After the early excitement I’ve now defaulted back to the ‘expecting it next week’ mode.

Hmmmm... Argos just sent a text saying Yodel will deliver my Silver X tomorrow. I ordered last week when they later said no stock and wait until 8th-24th. I’d almost forgotten about it.
Now need to decide between the space grey from Apple (received on launch day) and this. Leaning towards returning the SG if Argos/Yodel show up.

I spoke to Apple this afternoon and they told me that following complaints from USA customers if you are on the IUP you will get a phone prioritised for you when the new one roles out. This has changed over the last few weeks. I checked before paying for my IUP phone last month and they weren’t doing this offer so I paid it off while I could.
You can still tell them in store when you collect you new phone you want to pay it off if you want to keep the phone
This common sense but the policy changed recently! I wish I knew!! Lol
So far a lady has said to me that they have the iPhone X in their warehouse and expecting to deliver the phones tomorrow. Maybe she might be right as I haven't received a text message or email from them yet.
