Other UK iPhone (2017) X(Ten)/8/8+ Pre-Orders and Dispatch Thread

Just spoke to someone at Argos again as I’m always misinformed. The lady I spoke to confirmed information from previous posts that Argos is expecting a delivery tomorrow morning. She stated that the people who pre ordered and people which ordered on the 3rd has priority. She said that she doubt delivery for customers will come tomorrow as once it comes they need to label it and process it. I was advised that an email should be sent out regarding delivery for item or text in the morning.
Hope this information is useful. It would be great if others called and asked so we can weigh out how valid the information actually is.

I ordered this morning at 09:10 and got a delivery slot for tomorrow
being advised by the Argos Representative that my order was showing as "Shipped" and due for delivery "Tomorrow"
I will also get a YODEL Text tomorrow morning

Now just want and see what unfolds

As of yet my Yodel Tracking doesn't suggest it is in the Yodel depot - I will keep you updated!

So for people like me who are still waiting for an update who ordered at 8:07 for Delivery on 13th-20th Nov... I'm thinking of arranging a 'raid party' in person... Outside the DPD depo? Balaclavas recommended. Anyone want in?

After the early excitement I’ve now defaulted back to the ‘expecting it next week’ mode.

So far a lady has said to me that they have the iPhone X in their warehouse and expecting to deliver the phones tomorrow. Maybe she might be right as I haven't received a text message or email from them yet.

I would call your local store to check they have the up to date procedure but it sounds about right. Which store are you getting it from? (Just interested as Leicester seem like they haven’t had many available)

Dispatched, arriving tomorrow. Was supposed to be 13-20 Nov, out of nowhere got the email. (Makes up a little bit for the pre-ordering farce where I gave up on the app after 7 mins!) Winchester/Southampton area.

I'm in the 13-20 Nov camp, pre-ordered as soon as I could on 27 Oct but my order is still stuck at "Order in progress".

Yet it seems as though those who are ordering from Argos are getting theirs tomorrow? Not much point in pre-ordering direct from Apple then.

i got mine from Apple, and suddenly shifted from 13-20 to tomorrow, fingers crossed for you.

Ah, I mean Argos will be delivering my iPhone X tomorrow to my house from their warehouse. If you're looking for iPhone X stocks in Argos apparently they said that they will get them on the 10th of November and roll them out to different stores across the UK. Not entirely sure though.

Yeah it seems like only some of the 13-20 Nov camp saw movement on their orders today. I guess that makes sense because so many people must be in that group so they can't fulfill all those orders on the same day.

I received my email at 08:06 and I’m still on preparing for dispatch. Mine is a Silver 256GB

My partner who ordered Space Grey 256GB slightly after me is already on dispatched.

I wonder if there is just more supply of the Space Grey maybe.

Well my delivery from EE went from awaiting confirmation to delivery on 10th! Wondering if I can connect it from local DPD depot earlier!

Missed out on a 256gb by seconds today. Became available at 11am.

iStockNow is truly a godsend but I’m never quite quick enough to act on it!

My DPD tracking number does not work at the mo. But this is quite normal - check back in a few hours and the system will be updated and you will be able to track it. It just means apple has just assigned it to DPD - who will be picking it up this evening from the sender. Once the delivery driver comes to pick it up and scans the parcel, then it will show up on the DPD delivery/tracking system.

I've now received a text from DPD to pick a 1 hour delivery slot tomorrow. Done it for PM.
