Just got an email saying payment couldn't be accepted.

Tried to authorise a new card, that got declined too. Called up and it still wouldn't work and I have been told to call my bank :(

On the phone with the bank now, think I am on hold, but the line is silent :confused:

FML, why is it this difficult to spend over £1k on a phone!
I had the same!! Called Apple and got the payment sorted. Awaiting PFD..
 
All sulk together! It does seem to be the later ones that haven’t gone ... not sure if there are any pre 8.10 people left?
 
Any Argos-ers that have received dispatch, are you able to provide a screenshot of the email confirmation of this? Trying to get a consistent response from Argos is tiring!
 
I have no movement yet either. 08:11 order for me of Silver 256gb

Mine has just gone to Preparing for Dispatch a few minutes ago. Silver 256GB. I had to change the card today at 10:45, took me an hour to approve security with bank and re-use the same card. Was worried it had been delayed, but just changed to PFD so guess not. They had put a reserve on my card from the second I corrected the card today. So I guess if you have a reserve on your card today, it might ship today.
 
My confirmation was 8:11 too (still no change).

Will they send an email when it's dispatched - if so I'm gonna stop checking lol (a watched kettle never boils an all that!)
 
So looks like I am one of the only ones with no movement still. No pending amount on my card. Won’t have anyone to talk to on here soon

A lot of other orders haven't progressed either.
 
I managed to get my order refunded, but it was a huge carry on.

For some reason when they processed my iUP the original order from the website showed as cancelled, but didn’t actually cancel, that’s why I still had the charge on my card.

I went into the store, they tried to cancel it again, no joy. But my order was still showing ready to pickup. They were very confused and told me to phone online support.

So I said to them, is there any chance there is still a phone in the back with my name on it waiting for collection that I could “collect” and instantly refund.

This worked and I finally got my refund processed. It was good that I had to suggest the fix!!

So people, I know for a fact that one 256gb space grey (which used to have my name on it) became available in Aberdeen today.

Eventually got it sorted, but it took the best part of an hour.
 
We will probably have to wait till next week when more stock comes in!!
I don’t know if I can stand this level of page watching for that long!!! REALLY hoping it’s sooner! In fact, later tonight!! Someone pages back said it can go as late as 9pm. I’m holding onto hope!!
 
It looks like orders are being fulfilled slowly, I am sure all 13-20’s will be dispatched over the next few days.

It’s been fun... one thing I am not going to miss is those heart thumping 6am starts!
