Those of you getting 2 year phone contracts, what are you going to do next September, with a new iPhone coming out?

That’s a big buyout if you want the new model...
I keep mine for two years then my friend buys it off me for £50 less than best trade in price. My upgrade is always due on the launch and I usually find a lot more changes and advancement in every other phone.

What? I sell to a work colleague for the same price as the best trade in. They make a saving on a resellers mark up. No need to give them an even better deal!

What did you get?

Does anybody else with a 21st delivery/collection date still have “Processing Items” or “Order In Progress”? Looks like everybody’s status has already updated. Transactions are still showing as pending.

Yes for my watch! Store collections change late and they’re not individually dispatched but in a batch that are heading into stores. I wouldn’t expect to see status changes as they never go via dpd or ukmail like the home delivered ones

My collection for Friday is still showing pending for the payment and order processing. I think anyone with pickups their order will update on Thursday night maybe?

I remember last year I got an email the day before giving me info about picking up and stuff.

How did you upgrade/order? And what sort of deal did you get?
It's my first mobile contract for my name in the UK. I only have broadband with BT with £5 add-on mobile plan for my mom, but I doesn't count it as a normal contract.

So... it was my first credit check for a contract. I was scared that I will be rejected cos I'm a student (no loans, no credit cards, no job).

Anyway it went well.

I got Vodafone plan with I believe 20+GB data, £66/monthly for 24 months, sadly £199 upfront.

Nope. Mine is preparing for dispatch. Has been for days.

Interesting! I have a collection (Watch) and delivery (XS Max) both for 21st and both showing as Processing. So I guess the store collection will update later, seems strange that my delivery hasn’t yet updated though!

I just checked my EE order online for my iphone XS 256gb Space Grey and it has been cancelled. I called customer service in a panic and they have ordered me an XS Max 256gb Space Grey by mistake for Friday. I am a little annoyed because I ordered an XS case but I'm happy to keep the Max if it is meant to be. My deal on EE is £78 a month and nothing up front.

Also, will selling this year’s XS/Max cover remaining carrier costs?

I’m seeing people signing up to circa £80 per month, which is £960 to pay off this time next year.

I guess so, but with tariffs seemingly improving each year, is it really worth a 2 year carrier commitment?
St the 12 month mark I’ve often been able to adjust my tariff for a better deal. Plus I get 20% nhs discount too.
I paid nothing upfront, and £74pm for 100gb and unlimited texts, calls and most importantly free use in USA where I spend a lot of time each year. I’m happy with that x

Do you have any idea why the option to pick up from the store is not available around the world (Except for the United States) for nearly four days?
From your past experience, do you think Apple Store will open this option before this Friday?
