Quick question for those who have an X (to save starting a new thread) - have 99% of apps been re-written for the X display then i.e. Do these apps not have a top and bottom black border like they would on an iPhone 8 Plus?

I guess I am asking - do they fill the whole of the display on the X?!
Don’t think there’s one single app on my phone that isn’t now optimised for the X screen. All of them fill the entire space.

100% of my installed apps have been.

So what does everyone think the ranking of the colours will be in terms of popularity come preorder?
I’m thinking
Gold - most popular, sold out in minutes
Space grey
Silver

I think silver is best chance of getting one on launch day. Then there’s storage .....probably 256 most popular then 512

So least likely to get launch day will be 256 gold, most likely to get will be silver 64gb
The max version more popular at preorder than 5.8”

Sticking with the 5.8” Xs. Don’t think the size of the plus/max and it’s weight will work for me
Very hard choice for me to love my old iPhone X 5.8 screen size fits in my pockets without any issue but I want a larger screen size this year but my pockets are too small.
Second hoping Apple don't fool us again with the pricing iPhone XS 64GB Max starting price will be £1069 for the basic model I will be like wtf.
All depends on pricing this year will be happy to pay £800 for iPhone X 5.8 hope they nail the prices this year make it sweet.

Can’t see the Xs starting at £800 from the current £999. More likely £899-£999. Yes a part of me thinks Apple would be Apple and whack the UK with a higher price than the US equivalent

with the 128gb. As much as I’d love that I just can’t seeApple eating into their margins that iCloud subscriptions supply.

Also if they’re rumoured to drop the retail price I can’t see them doing that AND increasing storage.

£100 cheaper for 64gb or existing price for 128gb?

The latter works for me

Why do I have to settle only for Space Black Stainless Steel AW. If they don’t make the XS cheaper, I’ll probably pass this year. But I’m eyeing up the watch :p

I’m also going to go Sim Only with EE at 16 p/m with 20GB regardless if I get a new phone.

Just emailed envirofone asking for a code like previous years as an incentive. Will post here if I get one.

Keep in mind, they normally send a reminder 5 days after you place your order. That reminder used to say (2016) they would lock in your price for an extra 14 days, so hopefully thats the case. If so I'd suggest locking in today or tomorrow...
Wondered if anything turned up from Envirofone ? I locked in my X256 at £650 with music magpie today with a 14 day guarantee. I might have to go without a phone for a day or 2 if the worst comes to the worst.
