I received a notification from DPD this morning telling me that a delivery had been redirected to my local Halfords at my request. I have just found out that the parcel is my iPhone!!!!! Very worrying......... DPD have at least one recorded incident of driver theft.

This is probably due to a setting in the app, happened to me once. Very annoying.

I was effectively late to the game then. I think it was about 7:50 when I opened the website.

Edit - no - I've just checked my emails and contract updates came through at 7:33, so looks like I was in the early batch!

I got my email confirmation at 7:37 and still nothing.
O2 state on their website that if you order by 8pm they aim to have it to you tomorrow.
Hopefully mine will update soon!

I'm on a SIM only with EE at the moment with an iPhone X on the upgrade Program.
I saw the £70.00 deal on this forum and called them this morning.
I'll hand my X back to Apple and terminate the upgrade Program.

You can't just hand it back. I asked about this on Monday when I called Apple and they confirmed it. Only way you can hand back is if you're getting a new one on the IUP. Otherwise you have to settle with Barclays

You're quite correct, as Jinjin mentioned earlier.
I've just got a confirmed £650.10 buy from musicMagpie (thanks Jinjin) so I'll settle the Barclays deal and hopefully have a few quid left over.

Just got a call from the Fraud Squad at the bank. Apple tied to bill me this morning for the iPhone XS Max 512GB (gold).

New card onto the order and payment taken.

Looking at the order page, the delivery date is tomorrow, but is still in processing at the moment. Hoping that the payment gets through in the system in time ✌️

Yeah, means they have plenty of stock too!
My order has been updated now with tracking number, but it doesn’t work yet!

I've been using an older Android phone today as I said goodbye to my X.

Having used my 7 Plus on iOS12 these past few days, it actually feels like a new phone!

So much faster and responsive now.

I've decided not to install iOS 12 so you get the new experience.
