Hi.

Anyone order via Apple with due from 25th Sept -2nd Oct see any move moment

I ordered my Gold Max 64GB and got 25th sept-2nd Oct as delivery dates. No movement. Seeing as the 24th sept people haven’t seen anything yet I’m guessing ours will be mid next week

I’ve got to decide whether to put it on my 0% card if I’m not accepted or whether to just take it as a sign and leave it till next year....

Yes, my iUP instore reservation has changed to ‘Ready for pickup’ in the last hour.

I've decided not to install iOS 12 so you get the new experience.

But not having a home button will take a lot of getting used to.

It takes all of 5 minutes. You’ll be surprised how quickly you forget about it. The gestures fee very natural

Sadly I'm working at an event tomorrow, so won't be home until around 7.
So I'll have to wait awhile to try them out!

When I saw the gestures last year on the keynote I was impressed. It felt so natural when they were doing this. TBH I'm mostly excited for the new screen.

I did see a few pages back an order for 24 Sept - 1 Oct delivery was charged by Apple this morning but declined and was contacted by his bank in case it was suspicious, then had to update payment.

I'll just sit and wait as i refuse to go to the other retailers who claim they have stock, then if issues arise they fob you off, lol.

Me neither! By the way, to wipe the X clean before shipping off is it;
Sign out of iCloud
Erase all settings?

Sign out of Find My Phone. But this should be a step that occurs when trying to reset back to factory settings

am late to the Xs party but it seems it is nowhere close to being as busy as the X launch last year. i submitted my EE upgrade order last night (Wed/Sept 19) and got my confirmation email at 18:45. No text messages or holds on my credit card this morning made me call EE at 12:21 and they were able to reprocess my web order. Got an email at 12:43 stating my 4GEE device is on its way to the store. Got a notification from DPD at 14:25 notifying me that they will deliver my EE parcel tomorrow. Happy days!!!

Discovered why my web order did not go through last night, turns out I had a text from EE received at 18:40 with a pin I needed to enter and the pin expires in 30 minutes. I saw an EE text pop up but I thought it was just one of their surveys, so I ignored it.

Overall, extremely painless upgrade and really shocked I get to pick up the phone on launch day. The phone I upgraded to is Xs 256GB silver. 20GB Max plan for £66.40/mo with £100 upfront and 20% work discount.

Just got a call from the Fraud Squad at the bank. Apple tied to bill me this morning for the iPhone XS Max 512GB (gold).

New card onto the order and payment taken.

Looking at the order page, the delivery date is tomorrow, but is still in processing at the moment. Hoping that the payment gets through in the system in time ✌️

Has the order status changed on the website? Mine is 24-1 it still says processing sadly!!

My phone shall be delivered tomorrow (EE). Looks like we've been lucky this year compared to the nightmare shortages that occurred with the 7+ two years ago.

I'm at work until 4pm so I'll have to wait to experience the new phone. I haven't upgraded to iOS12 either so it'll be a few new things to experience tomorrow.

You can upgrade your delivery slot by paying, before 10am, before 12am and 12-6pm. Look on the DPD app.

DPD usually give a one hour time slot deliveries will see though night just turn up. I can’t track mine haven’t been able to all day for some reason

It’ll probably show a truck drop at about 5am, where it’s scanned into the warehouse.

Does anyone know if more reservations will go live on the app tomorrow? I asked in store the other day about reserving for IUP and was told more reservations will be available on the app at 8:01 tomorrow. Ive now decided to buy outright, but does anyone know if this is true? Am I likely to be able to pre order for store collection that day? Or if Im better off going to my store to queue - haven't done that for years, not sure if I'll be likely to get one.

A. Don't drink, stay healthy for the phone to setup sober.
B: Go bed early (11~12).
C. up by 7am (the start shift).
