Just sold my iPhone 7+ 128GB for £400. Didn't expect i'd get that much but I guess the increased prices for the new models have driven up costs of the older models. Happy days

£400 is a nice figure for two years old device some donut quoted me £459 for a perfect iPhone X 64GB on ebay.
I was like wtf man this is perfect phone nice screen ios 11.2.1 never crashed no marks no dust under camera going to keep it forever now even mazuma mobile offered me £470 resale prices have crashed this year on last year flagship phones.

Anyone looking for a used iPhone X your getting a great bargain on ebay just pay apple £25 to swap out the battery set to go.

What wholesale prices?
I have Friends working for BT mobile and Virgin mobile you be very shock to know how cheap 100gb data transfer we are talking about less than 1 pound per 100gb data mobile networks are ripping us off big time with pricing.

That why today I mentioned the wholesale prices to EE customer relation team they knew what I was talking about cannot mess me about with pricing.

Even 3uk decided this week to offer my son unlimited data hotspot on his account he pay only £12 a month and they still make a profit out of that.

Hi guys, I’ve just ordered me an XS Max.. currently have an X.

Although I’m a little concerned in regards to the LTE problems I’ve seen. Most of them seem to be US based.

Do we have any issues here in the UK more specifically on EE?

Do I have anything to worry about?

Off topic but here goes. Anyone with an Xs on EE having issues using the free London Underground WiFi?

Usually it connects to the EE auto WiFi hotpot but on the Xs seems to ask for authentication.

EE support is like getting blood out of a stone. They’re now blaming iOS 12 causing issues as the phone should just connect to the hotpot via EAP-SIM authentication... but doesn’t.

Suggested I wait for 12.1 and then update via iTunes and not ota

After I've tried the Xs again, I'm sure now: I'll stay at the gorgeous screen of the Max!

How :D

I did end up getting more than 20% 2 years ago when I bought a phone with them, was only meant to get 10%.

I want the XS, and might try my luck with Very and see what happens. Closed my account sometime back so hopefully I can sneakily get through as a "new customer"

No problems here at all.

In fact, I was shocked that it connected automatically today after I sent the phone up as a new device.

Yeah tried all of that, resetting network settings, getting updates etc. Somethings broke. A few others on the EE forums seem to have it too

I texted that on the Sunday. Didn’t reset anything else or send the text again.

Didn’t work for a week (asking for authentication), then it started working for about a week. Then it stopped working again last week. Monday and Tuesday this week it has started working again.

Which is incredibly weird, I didn’t reset anything at all I have done is probably rebooted occasionally.

Seems to be carrier settings not applying the EAP-SIM profile which authenticates against the hotspot. EE 2nd line support said its ‘causing havoc’ for customers.

Looks like you can download the apple configurator app on the Mac store and use that to push setting to the device. But all a bit hooky, I’d be expecting EE/apple to sort it.

Being advised to upgrade iOS to 12.1 when it comes via iTunes and not OTA too.
