I just read a report saying they were already running of current supply and orders placed from yesterday evening may have a 2 week + delay.

Apple quoting 25/09-2/10 so nothing like the x delays. We’ll see, I do struggle to resist the hype of a new apple phone but can’t help think maybe leave the phone this time and do a watch upgrade

Fingers crossed all goes smoothly and it’s nothing like the iPhone 7 fiasco. I ordered the watch yesterday morning but they told me straight away it was dispatch within 30 days so I’m happy waiting for that. Apple were stating the same too at the time of my order.

So i've pre-ordered the XS Max online, and should get a launch day device. However, I wanted to trade in my old phone at the store. Anyone know if i can refund back at store, trade-in and then re-purchase?

Anyone on EE SIM only able to confirm how much is cost per month to have the LTE watch added?

If ordered over the phone, it’s £25 per month for the watch and you get a small amount of data, then any extra is taken fro your phone data allowance .

Weren’t interested in mine, shirked all responsibility
They tried it with me the other day at the Apple
Store in Kingston.

I (politely) reminded him of my legal rights and that as I had purchased from Apple, my contract was with Apple and not Belkin, and that they (as Belkin’s customer) will have to take up whatever they need to about the poor quality product they received.

Five minutes later a “manager” tried the same thing  and so I repeated myself to him.

He went away and came back with the screen protector machine and fitted a new one.

It’s £5 a month for me to add it to my plan

Everyone thinking of switching to ee:

I regularly get speeds in the 100s on EE

Hmm maybe I need to try that then!!

I'm assuming that's to buy the watch? Sorry I should have been more specific, I'm getting the watch from Apple.

Great info re consumer rights:

Your contract is with the retailer or service provider, not the product manufacturer, so it is its responsibility to sort it out, providing that the product is breaking your statutory rights. So don't let the retailer fob you off, for example, by saying you must use the guarantee first to send a duff DVD player back to the manufacturer.

Brilliant... and just to clarify, that's on a SIM only? Do you know if the data allowance is separate or grabbed from the phone?

Nice one! thanks for clarifying. What data allowance for the phone?
Yes it’s on sim plans to I asked yesterday on Twitter coz I have a cellular S3 but currently on BT

Message I got

Right, I've got you know. You'd just need to purchase the SIM, and when you've got this in your phone, unpair the Apple Watch from the phone it is linked to at present, and then pair it to the phone with the EE SIM in it. As you are setting it up, there will be an option to add a data plan, which will be free for 3 months with unlimited data, then £5 per month with 10GB of data each month. -Michael

Anyone considering getting the Apple Folio case?
Yes, I have it with my current X, however I switched to apple normal leather case after 2 months (got the case and the phone at launch day), I wasn't a big fan of it, however product wise, it is a great product and if you like that kind of case, it is worth the buy.
