Yup, mine is in the same place. Just needs to make its way to good old Sandbach. I doubt it will arrive tomorrow still. They will have so much extra to deliver on their routes some may arrive early to spread the load i guess.

I would expect it to be there tonite.

If you have it at the main distribution point today, and its out in transit. Expect it to be at the local depot tonite or at latest, very early morning.

Thanks. My dilemma is that I have Friday off. Aaargh. What are my options? Can I divert the driver to my work, ask for a eta so I can pop out of work, collect from the depot after work, etc, etc

Maybe. No. Yes.

In that order.

Phone them at about 7am and ask them if it's going out for delivery, if it is then ask them to hold on to it and you'll collect from the depot.
 
Watched this thread for a while and decided to join!

I have a friend who works at UPS in Tamworth, where I live who has told of the influx of thousands of Apple branded parcels in the warehouse, all being shipped out tonight, although he thinks that they may have a hold on them until Friday, though he can't confirm this.

I'll be heading to PC World on Friday to get mine, so best of luck and I hope you get them all in the morning!

Just to say I actually ordered around 3am on the 12th and got a 28th of May delivery date. Order is currently in transit from Nuneaton and Apple website says delivery is due for tomorrow.

So hope i'm proof you can have ordred later then the 10th and still be on track for a first batch delivery.

YAY! It's happening people!

Whoops, sorry, I must have misread your post. I think my eyes are starting to give up after reading this thread practically all day, along with TNT/Apple pages.......all so I can have another gadget to read more web pages on haha, oh well, it's all good fun......kinda :)

Edit: And just to clear it up, I didn't think for one minute you were a hussy.......greedy, maybe jk jk :p

I Doubt they'll let you change the Address. I was told by TNT that an address change can only be requested by the sender, so would have to call Apple and ask them to change it.

They did say that they could hold it for me to collect from the depot, but i'll need my driving license and a bill with my address on which is tricky because I'm almost entirely paperless. I did find my recent Council Tax statement so hopefully that will suffice.

I was told today that i should call in the morning to see if its arrived an then they can ensure its held for collection, but mine still says Arnhem, on the tracking info, so i have no idea where it is right now.
