Interesting. I do also have a device management profile for work apps. I ended up setting up as a new phone and just installing a few of my apps back on, just so I have a working phone until beta 2. I have put the work profile and app back on this clean install and the stores still work. Hmmmm is it worth my wiping and restoring from backup again and trying to remove the profile to see if that fixes it

Hrm. Yeah, that is interesting that your works still after installing the profile back on the fresh install.

That’s what triggered me to remove it, in my iPad that I started fresh, I installed our management profile and immediately the App Store stopped connecting, then removed it, and it came back.

Definitely seems like a bug that should have been caught in alphas either way... IMHO. ;P

Seems odd. Unfortunately, the work management app, MobileIron, doesn't seem to work with Beta 1, so I can't remove the profile and re-add it back in iOS 11.

I am also iPhone 7 Plus with one Apple ID (not dual), 2 Factor Authentication ON, and no management profiles at all.

Apple Music and everything loaded fine at first. And then my battery died over night (lost power in a storm) and when I recharged and rebooted, all was lost (App Store, Music, etc.)

Now, the phone has trouble remembering Wi-Fi passwords, Contacts aren't attaching to numbers but their pictures are, Messages is sending SMS by default to people I know are iPhone owners, FaceTime refused to engage, and some pictures and videos went missing.

I have a feeling it's the password. I changed it and got my pics back and Contacts are updated properly, and FaceTime is back. Changing my password did something. But App Store and Music and Home Sharing are still returning cannot connect.

Maybe this has something to do with Apple changing the way passwords are saved on the device? And there is a bug just on the iPad Pro 9.7 and 7 Plus? Chipset bug?

well, i just restored my phone and restored from iCloud backup. the profile wasn't there anyway, stores still didn't work. added the profile back and deleted it, still didn't work. signed out of all iCloud and iTunes accounts. still didn't work. I can't think of anything else, clean install works, restore from backup doesn't. strange

I think the clear message is that Beta 1 is very buggy and we will need to wait for Beta 2.

On average, Beta 1 has lasted 2-3 weeks from initial releases, so I guess we have probably 12 more days. I was fed up enough I actually decided to try Spotify out for $.99, since AM doesn't work. I can live without the app store, but can rely on syncing through my Mac if I ever really *needed* an app.

I had a Cisco profile for my corporate wifi, it works now after removing it!

Same for me here in the UK. I haven’t been able to connect to the App Store, Apple Music or iTunes on either my 6s or iPad Pro.
I’ll give the profile file removal solution a go and see if that works

Same thing happening here but only started last night and still doing the same today.

oops - typo. Now edited.

There is currently a thread about this on the Apple developers site.

The bug is not just affecting connecting to the app store, it is affecting the following areas:

* Not being able to connect to the Itunes or App Stores

* Not being able conect to Apple Music

* Not being able to use iCloud Music Library

* Not being able to add new cards to Apple Pay

* Unable to sign into Home Sharing

And..

* Resetting Network Settings has no effect

* Using the .ipsw has no effect

* A clean install does resolve the issue, but you as soon as you restore from back up the issue reappears ( so if you dont mind a clean phone it works)

* Signing out of Apple ID's does not resolve the issue and then you are left with place holders for Apps you can not download

* Removing profile's has not resolved the issue

I wish that was my problem. My iPad mini 4 became so unusable I had no choice but to go back to 10. I couldn't even turn off the tablet let alone do anything in Safari. Way to many bugs at this stage at least on the iPad's.

I feel your pain, but it is a beta for a reason.

Just to let everyone know I was able to fix the problem by turning off Wi-fi and using my 3G

Are now able to log in and use the App Store and iTunes?

Just tried via 3g, still no luck here!

Thats my set up but no joy. What iPhone do you have? I have a 7+ which seems to be the one with most issues

Yeah that’s what I’m using. Once you turn off your Wi-fi be sure to swipe up on the apps to close them. Then reopen them and see what happens.

Also once back on Wi-fi after a few minutes I was back to the same problem but going to 3G cured it again but seems this is going to be an ongoing issue until the next beta. I don’t mind going to 3G for my small updates but wouldn’t want to be streaming my music all day from it.

Nope, nothing for me.. you can now carry on with babble ;)

Did you suffer not being able to connect to the stores when you loaded the beta or did this happen after a short period?

Must be the luck of the Irish!!!!

Hahaha Babbel and still crap at languages :)

My problem kicked in yesterday around midday GMT and was still there this morning when I got up, everything you mentioned was down for me too and when I turned off Wi-fi everything resumed as normal but as I’ve since stated it will work again on Wi-fi but it was for a short period of time. Not perfect but a temporary fix for me.

I’ll send you some lucky charms

I get that when trying to access an app from another region's App Store. Seems like there's no option to change regions now.

You may have a slightly different issue, most people on the apple developer forums have had it from the moment they did the install.

I think I will need more than lucky charms.. lol

I suppose it could link it to Language and region in the settings menu, or the apple ID could change regions like iTunes currently does on a desktop

I used to be able to just tap on another region's app link, and the App Store would prompt me to change regions to access it. It worked before and now it just shows 'Unable to Connect to App Store'. I use that to update the apps I've purchased in other regions, and it sucks that it doesn't work now.

I started over and issue resolved. I then reconnected to my work wifi with the profile and it still works.
I will keep an eye on any changes in the coming hours.
I remember iOS8 to iOS9 had a backup issue where it was some random setting that corrupted during install.
It could be as simple as a broken .plist.
