I think Backblaze is the only major app I use that still doesn't have an Apple Silicon version.

EDIT: Oh, and Plex.

"Adobe plans to extend native support for Apple silicon to its After Effects app with a public beta later this year"

Yeah, I was super stoked in my other post. It’s fantastic they’re taking that step, but then they’ll need to do M2 so Adobe will have to continue paying for support for that chip whenever it comes out. If I’m getting it right, they’re paying Apple to allow them to put it on an M1 config, right? And then… M2 pops out! Hey, Adobe, pay out the ears to put it onto that, too! Probably evens out when Adobe is forcing everybody to pay out the nose for a license , though.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but this week I've had a strange dialogue box in MS Excel v16.15 on my M1 MBA. This is the universal MS Office, and Activity Monitor shows it running as Apple architecture.

The strange thing is that this Excel sheet is just a table of columns, with very basic formulae to do total and averages. There are no macros, or any other advanced features whatsoever.

I have no idea what Excel is detecting in this sheet, but does this suggest that the current universal Office suite is actually not quite complete? I know OneDrive is still Intel.

Please add the following two to the list.
Qbittorrent unofficial releases:
Magnum Bytes "Nimble Commander" (Norton Commander clone for Mac)
That one is the stable release.
A newer one is here:
Beta, but flawless.

It would be an absolute cluster**** if the m chips aren’t backwards compatible. They don’t need to update apps every time a new intel processor comes out.

As much as Acrobat is used, I'm surprised it hasn't been made Universal yet. Curious how much longer Adobe will take on it. They seem to be saving it for last.

This is very annoying indeed as I use it a lot. However, Rosetta works fairly well even on my Acrobat Pro DC 2015 release.

Added PDFZone which allows you to batch rename PDF files based on their content (date, text, numbers...). It also allows to batch extract data to CSV file.
Apple Silicon & Intel compatible -> Universal

LibreOffice 7.2 runs now native on Apple silicon.
