They want to force people to use the crappy Electron app instead I guess. It is a pity that they don't just use Catalyst to port the iOS app to MacOS.It's not available on the app store . So prob not

ARM support
We are thrilled to announce OneDrive support for ARM-based Windows devices Join us in the Insiders Ring to opt-in for the ARM preview by end of this year.
M1 support
We recently announced that OneDrive will be natively compiled for M1 and will be releasing a preview for the Insiders Ring in December. You can take full advantage of the performance improvements on M1 by early next year.
It seems Apple's move to ARM for MacOS is encouraging MS to take Windows on Arm more seriously. At Ignite 2021, Microsoft announced that OneDrive will natively support ARM-based Windows and Apple M1 devices, saying:

Thanks for this, it looks like I don't need most features that requires the desktop app. But good luck to you to get it soon.Microsoft Teams Features by platform - Microsoft Support

Here's a link to their page:Docker just updated and the desktop app no long requires Rosetta 2, fully Apple Silicon native.
Still microsoft related I also ran the latest version of Microsoft to do app which it’s now universal. Not perfect, but use teams as a web app inside of microsoft edge as an apple native app. Most functions "work" though there are some challenges. HUGE improvement in terms of cpu and battery utilization. Obviously not optimal, but hey... it is better.
I found this:Do someone know how to get hold of the OneDrive m1? Ms did announce that they have it inside there beta program
So, the only apps I still waiting for to get Apple Silicon Native is:
I can't understand what's taking so long time to get it fixed.
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft OneDrive
- VMware Horizon Client
Yeah pore things they barley make the rent 😂These are small indie start-up companies, you have to cut them some slack! 😂
I’m right with you on 1 and 2. I’d also like ExpressVPN to go native, but their help chat people said essentially,"don’t hold your breath." I wonder just how much battery I would save and transfers would improve with M1 optimized client. So, the only apps I still waiting for to get Apple Silicon Native is:

SurfShark is native and works well. I haven’t had any problems with it on my M1 MBA.I’m right with you on 1 and 2.
