My Up-to-Date code worked last night. The download is going on nine hours, and it's only completed 1.5 gb on a 2.8 mb/s connection. I've had apple computers exclusively for eight years now, and this is definitely the worst experience so far.

What receipt did everyone submit? I sent a screenshot of my email from Apple Store online showing that it was paid, but it bounced back saying that they needed proof of purchase! I don't have anything else!

Does anyone know if these codes they are sending are locked to your apple id? I would think that since you can enter any email address during signup and it doesn't specifically ask for you to enter your apple id email address, that its just a generic code being generated for use with the download of ML.

Anyone know? Anyone have it not sent to your apple id email address?

I submitted my claim late Wednesday, and haven't heard anything yet.

As for the "proof of purchase", I also just attached a screenshot of my invoice from the online store, so I hope it'll do.

Apparently that wont do. They've bounced it back to me three times. I've sent an email but had no reply. I can't believe it's this difficult!

FWIW, I purchased a Retina MacBook Pro about a week ago. I was under the assumption that I would immediately be able to DL ML when it was released. I entered my up to date info Wednesday morning, and waited for about six hours...at that point, I decided to buy it from the Mac App store, and take my chances getting a refund for the $20.

I finally got my PDF and codes late Friday night and entered them. This changed the purchase date for my purchase of ML from July 25 to July 28, meaning that the free version was now the valid version associated with my App store account. I then sent an email to the Mac App store concerning a billing issue, with the receipt # for my purchase of ML, and asked for a refund.

They replied, telling me I would receive a refund for the purchase price for ML in 3-5 days.

I got my code in under a minute tonight and I didn't have to provide anything other than my information and serial number. I guess I was just lucky.

My downloading was almost done, and when I come back from work it said error 403, now I cannot continue downloading, because the ML it's not avilable for free download anymore, what the f.ck apple it's some joke or what, I am so dissapointed now. My redeem code said that it's used, but the OS is not avilable for downloading someone with same problem?

I got on email from Apple on Saturday night (I submitted on Wed morning) saying that my proof of purchase was illegible and I was invited to resubmit it. It was a 300 DPI decent quality file. So I rescanned the receipt at 600 DPI and resubmitted it. Got an another email from Apple saying that the proof of purchase was illegible! WTH shall I upload?

It's been 75 hours, so I submitted it again. If I don't get it by the end of the night, I'm going to email them

Day 5 of waiting for me. Received three PDFs on Friday night but none of the passwords worked........ Emailed uptodate support but no reply...........

Dam so many people still haven't gotten their code? :O good thing I got mine last Wednesday. I got one invalid code, a OS X Server code and the 3rd one was finally the Mountain Lion Code.
