Took more than 48 hours. By the time it came I had already upgraded my others machines, so it wasn't even relevant anymore.

Received my code along with an email from Apple iTunes support within 2 hours after relating my frustration to Apple support. Should have contacted support earlier to take my application out of the 'forgotten' tray.

Now happily downloading ML.

what's the email address you sent it to?

Just over 48 hours for me, I re-submitted my info again though and I received 2x content passwords approx 20 mins after, only had 1 PDF come through so I'm assuming the other password is useless.. So not sure if that made them come through faster or not..

Well, I ended up giving in and buying it. Of course moments later I got my email. I emailed Apple asking if I could get a refund and they told me they can't promise me anything. Pretty disappointing, but I can say that Mountain Lion is amazing. I don't even care about the money I spent. I'm just happy I have it now. It's the most polished OS I've ever used.

Took me around 48 hours, finally got the code late today and just installed it. Wow. Unbelievable difference.. never liked Lion. Thought it lagged and it was just missing something; espically in the performance factor. I don't want to jump to conclusions but this feels faster than Snow Leopard (which IMO was the fastest mac OSX).

Just got my code (24hrs, in UK). Mind you I've been sent 2 emails from Apple with different passwords to get at the code, so now to see which one works...

I just received another PDF and password so my second submission was less than 12 hours!! Anyone waiting should just re-apply!

Finally after 40 freakin hours

Same here, 40hrs wait. Theres no way I'm paying for something that I should have free, just the principles of it.

Apple was being petty not opening the programme before ML was released, and this is what they get for it.

After about 52 hours, I received six emails from Apple: Three emails with a password and three emails with a password-protected PDF.

I tried every password with every PDF, but none of them worked. This is really annoying!

...I tried to re-register, but my serial number was already used.

Mine took about 26 hours.
I'm not too bothered with notification centre etc, may even try to turn it off, but the overall OS just feels a hell of a lot snappier.
Still waiting for my damn SSD to arrive! I'm not used to a HDD and its spoiling the experience for me. Come on Mr Postman!!
