YES. This is a major annoyance of mine. In Las Vegas, there's a major freeway which carries I-515, US-93, and US-95. Navigating on Apple Maps, it seems to randomly choose one of these identifiers, but never mentions them all.

While driving on the new I-11 around Boulder City, which is co-signed with US-93, Apple Maps (the NEW Apple Maps, mind you) couldn't decide which road I was on. Every four miles or so, it would change the name of the road to the other name, and would even announce the change every time.

"Continue straight onto I-11 South." Even though there's no interchange for miles and miles.

Had this issue when I did a run up the Cali Coast to Big Sur a couple months back - was comparing AM and GM. Was wondering why it would suddenly make announcements like that. :D

XS Max iOS13 PB - My location marker is missing from the map this morning.
Takes me to the right local but the indicator is gone. If I toggle between Map and Satellite, the indicator comes back.

If I kill AM, reopen AM, move to a distant location, switch to 3D, click to go back to my current location, the indicator will not always show.

Just tried to replicate this to no avail...what do you consider "distant location" from your current spot? And when you say "click to go back" do mean hit the location marker in the upper right?

I was looking at Austin Texas.
Was in satellite view - 3D
Switched to Map - 3D
Clicked the location marker - took me to my location with no blue indicator.
Switched to satellite and indicator came back.

Whoa...I just replicated it...weird.

Totally lost the blue marker. Even moved around a little bit to see if it would come back. It did take a couple of 3D to 2D and satellite to map views for it to show up again.

When things start glitching out, I always assume there's an update coming.

I've noticed consistently that when Google Maps starts acting funky, an update is a day or two away. Once it updates, it's fine again.

No map data updates for the northeast yet, but driving tonight on Apple CarPlay, I noticed some more behind-the-scenes fine-tuning.

The blue bubbles which denote upcoming streets you'll be driving on now appear to be a much richer hue of blue (at least at night). Trust me on this. When the road you're driving on changes names, Apple Maps appears to be announcing this name change, which it sometimes used to do.

I see you found this one, too!

What I noticed right away is the 3D representation is WAY off on the White Castle.

Amazing how many 3D buildings and the detail in the NYC area. Dying to see what changes when it is updated.

A quick map item ....

On Google Map if I am at a location and close the app, when I open the map back up it opens to where I was in the map when I closed it. Unless I was in navigation.

On Apple Map if I am at a location and close the app, when I open the map back up it opens back centered on my current location (location of the map device). Why does it not open to the location displayed when app was closed?

If I kill each in task manager, then both GM and AM open up centered on device location.

Update: Went back and replicated this then suddenly it was working fine (keeping last view) then it wasn't. Grr.....

I was hoping I would see the map updates with the latest beta...guess not. Not that they are tied to each other, but was still hoping.

Today’s release was just a re-release of last week’s beta. So nothing new really.

I wouldn't expect much in the way of Maps changes in 12.4. It's mostly about Apple Card.

Sometimes they link Map updates to beta releases even though they are not tied together in any way. Would be nice to see the new areas released to everyone. Still not seeing them on either my iOS13PB phone or my iOS12 phone.

Siri: "Dave. You just ran a Stop Sign. Now dialing the police department to report this behavior."

Dave: "Siri, the Stop Sign was removed a month ago."

Police Officer: "Mr. Bowman. Do you know why I stopped you? Siri. Registration, License, and Proof of Insurance please."
