In the interest of tracking how this round plays out, here are the stock counts as of the morning of 28 October 2025:

Code:
M4 8TB: "In stock" - 40 items
M4 4TB: "In stock" - 5 items
M4 2TB: "Out of stock - preorder for next batch"

M3 16TB: "Backorder - delay 2 months"
M3 8TB: "In stock" - 11 items
M3 4TB: "In stock" - 9 items
M3 2TB: "Out of stock - preorder for next batch"

M2 8TB: "In stock" - 16 items
M2 4TB: "In stock" - 3 items
M2 2TB: "Out of stock - preorder for next batch"

M1 8TB: "Out of stock - preorder for next batch"
M1 4TB: "Out of stock - preorder for next batch"
M1 2TB: "In stock" - 1 item

All items can be added to cart for checkout, even the out of stock or backorder ones, as of this post. I can't see any place to sign up for email notifications for any items.
list is just BS. Why is my order not shipped then?

Because it's easier to do a bulk shipping rather than one by one.

Keep faith, i'm shure that memories are in QA stage before shipping.

Well it looks you may get to test that statement imminently, because orders on several SKUs were opened again, likely sometime within the last 24 hours. with several items showing the "in stock" claim. There's no way to know if that's true or not considering the phantom "in stock" orders in September and October. I can't find a way to subscribe to stock updates for any out of stock ones since that option seems to be unavailable now, but you can add the items marked "out of stock" or "backorder" to cart, meaning you will be charged in full if you go through with the order.

Did anyone get a shipping notification yet?
And he says in stock with delivery in 3-5 days

Hope all get an answer soon, but google shows «temporarely closed»
This could be helpful for those who's credit card has been charged but nothing shipped and are trying to get a charge back. That is providing proof they've packed up and are not handling orders.

Mate, that mainly means that their storefront is closed. Nothing else. As mentioned above, it makes sense that you don’t take walk-ins when you’re already overwhelmed at the moment.

Mate, read the tea leaves. They're not shipping, they're not responding, they're not open for business. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, its a duck

I have tried the Polysoft Services site just now and also a few hours ago - and it worked both times for me. All their advertising was there but I certainly will not be ordering anything from them.

Going from stock counts on the site, a few people are still buying "in stock" drive kits:

M4 8TB: 3 sold (37 in stock)
M3 8TB: 2 sold (9 in stock)
M1 2TB: 1 sold (out of stock)

There is no way to tell how many people placed a preorder purchase for the other drive kits because there is no stock counter to check, so those purchases just go into a black hole. But this is a minimum 6 new kits sold within the last day. It looks like there is a notable interest in drives for the newer Mac Studio models.

I am hoping that whoever is making more recent purchases visits this thread and can report their experiences in the coming days, it would be nice to have more direct data from customers since that is currently the only way to get more insight into shipping status.

This is just ridiculous. If the 8TB is in stock, why is he not shipping my order then? He is working on a exit scam guys, be prepared.

I have a separate question for US users in this topic, hopefully someone that received an order from Polysoft after 27 July 2025? Gilles is saying that Polysoft orders don't have any tariffs applied, but I encountered this website just today that says pretty clearly that there is now a reciprocal 15 per cent base tariff on imported goods if the "column 1 duty" is less than 15 per cent. Most electronic goods imported to US before tariffs were duty free so I am pretty sure that they would now receive that 15pc tariff upon import.

Gilles is still making statements that Polysoft orders aren't affected by tariffs but I don't see how that can be squared with the more recent information. So I am wondering, has anyone in the US received a shipment from Polysoft (or maybe just even other electronics from EU) since that 27 July date and can comment on tariffs during import? Is he misinformed about the recent changes, or is he eating the tariff rate, and are there any hard data points for that question?

FYI, the stock count also changes when you just have it in your cart. No need to buy so it might just be people testing it out.

Nevertheless, I’ve sent Gilles a mail and know for a fact that he’s read it quite fast however has not responded yet.

I noticed the same thing yesterday when I posted about stock counts, but then I tested on two different devices to see what would happen. The stock count is subtracted in the browser where you have something in your cart, but if you visit at the same time with a separate browser or computer it does not show the cart items as being subtracted from stock. The counts I quoted should be accurate then, because I did not have anything in my cart from the device I used to check the counts.

Mate, I truly hope you get your order from Polysoft because you are one of the very few that still have faith in him. Hopefully he does not let you down.

Hi, to be honest, I’m really worried. Yesterday, after watching several YouTube videos and some reviews about these drives, I went ahead and bought a 16TB kit. After trying to contact them several times (by phone and email), I’ve seen here that many people still haven’t received their orders. I called my bank to file a claim, and tomorrow I’m going to the police to report it as fraud.

Still, I find it strange that this forum is still on their website when they’re being accused of something so serious. Is it possible that something has happened to them? Also, I don’t understand how the stock has been updated if so many people haven’t received their orders yet.

I really hope this is all just a mistake and that I’ll have to withdraw the complaint, but until I get a response, I’ll keep moving forward with this. If anyone gets any updates, please share them — or if anyone actually receives their order. But honestly, things aren’t looking good.

At this point, I completely understand why people are feeling concerned — especially with larger orders and no clear updates. For those who wish to escalate the issue, there is an official French government platform called SignalConso, run by the DGCCRF (the national authority for consumer protection and fraud control in France).

You can report a problem related to an online purchase here (available in English):

That said, I’d still encourage everyone — if they can — to wait at least another 10 to 15 days before escalating, just to give the company a last chance to deliver. Especially for those who ordered back in September, we’re already at a point where concern is totally reasonable, but if it’s just delayed fulfillment from an overwhelmed small team, it might still resolve soon.

This sure sounds like an alt account for @gilles_polysoft that is doing pr/damage control.

If anyone is still on the fence and can file a chargeback, I highly recommend doing so while you still can.
