11 Pro Max to 15 Pro Max.

To be honest, I don’t really feel the need to either. The battery is still fine after 4 years at only 84% health and it’s still fast.

The main upgrades will be the cumulative nice stuff they added in the last 4 years and the camera tech. And most importantly, the 8gb of ram.

Going from XS 64GB to 15 Pro 256GB, looking forward to the extra space, been maxing out the space for a good few years now. Battery for XS is at 77%, and getting rid of it to a mate for him to give it to his son.

One of the oldest upgrades on the thread!

From graphite 12 pro to, umm, don't know! Can't make up my mind.

I think I might be waiting until I can get my hands on them in a shop. Very tempted by 15 Pro Max.

Adding a bit more:

At one point I was using a work 6 Plus - and I very much appreciated the screen size. But just too big and uncomfortable in trouser pocket.

Nowadays, different circumstances and I find myself wearing some sort of bodywarmer most of the time. Either a light one in warmer weather or a better insulated one in cool/cold weather. And prefer to carry my phone in an internal pocket. Where is is better protected and simply won't fall out under any circumstances.

Adding:

My battery is at 84%. Which I find somewhat disappointing.

11 to 15 Pro
The 11 is fine really - but the cumulative updates, the cameras (always wanted the telephoto lens), plus the age of the 11, have finally convinced me.
That and the price and dimensions - the 15 Pro is slightly shorter in depth and height, and very slightly lighter - which is a plus for me as it sits in my pocket nearly all day. Once had to get a 6 and that was a big, heavy phone - never got on with it.

So many of you coming from the 6S. That model number still strikes fear in my heart. I had major battery problems with that one.

13 Pro to 15 Pro Max. I regretted not getting the 11 Pro Max when I got my 11 Pro, then did the same thing with the 13 Pro and didn’t get the 13 Pro Max. Really excited to get a Max sized phone. May love it, may hate it over time, but I’m excited to give it shot.

11 to 15pro (me)
11 to 15 (wife)

What should we expect? Speed never really a concern on the 11, curious about other things.
Significantly better OLED vs LCD display, and a noticeable difference in speed, cameras. You will both get get dynamic island, but you will get action button, ProMotion (120hz refresh display), Always on Display. From a standard iPhone 11 to a 15 or 15 Pro is a big jump.

I feel exactly the same way. I pre-ordered the 15PM on launch day but today cancelled the order.

I think we're at a point where you can go either way but I decided to wait another cycle. Honestly the 11PM is still such a great phone. Let's see if that still holds true after the iOS 17 update.
