They get mass approval from customs, then move on. I think they have the process down really well. There is a 99% chance you will get it on time.

No anxiety, just having fun...it’ll get here on Friday! Back in the day, it was the long lines outside Apple Stores...today, it’s all about the pre-order process...ordering...watching the shipment makes its trek from mainland China to the front door.This is the yearly iPhone launch shipping anxiety! You can print out their form and tape it to your door, signing for the package.

Should I change the delivery to my work place? Do you think it would mess it up? Ugg I went through this last year too. I'll be at work all day but I dont want any delays if I change it.

Does anyone know if my husband will be able to pick up our phones at the UPS hub if I have them held there? He works close, so it would be convenient. The phones are in my name.
As long as the address on the State/Driver's ID matches with the address on the box is fine. For me I also took my wife's ID along with mine and showed them that we have the same address, they didn't care and handed the package over.
I was when I tried on my computer. I looked it up on UPS.com on my phone and it let me do it. Now when I log into ups on my computer it lists the CC center as where it will be held. At first it said delivery on the 24th but then changed to the 21st.
I feel dumb, what’s CC?
As for mine, still hasn’t budged from China. Basically the only thing I know that exists with my order is the shipping label :/
Question guys. I ordered two new iPhones. I got 3 different tracking numbers coming out of China. They came up with my phone number. 2 of them have my address as the shipping address. The other one that I don’t know about says Maryland. But it came up under my number. And that particular one has a delivery date for Monday. Anyone know what’s up? I don’t have anything else be shipped to me.
I think why some are showing they are moving and others are not is that not every single package is scanned. These phones are containered and not every single one is scanned as I recall from past events like this. However, once they hit the US and make it to customs they will each get scanned. Don't hold me to that, I was just thinking about past discussions and I think that was the case. I know UPS has mentioned large quantities of the same item often in a single container and not ever single package scanned when it's from the same shipper.
