People, if yours is not showing up yet, its okay!! If you received a 9/21 confirmation, it will show up. I already see in other threads where people are calling Apple because they cant track it yet lol, Good lord folks, it will show up as scheduled.

I called ups because one tracking number showed “rescheduled delivery. The other one was fine. They said to call the shipper. That they may have gave the wrong tracking number. Called Apple, they said they haven’t giving any tracking numbers yet. She even looked up the ones that ups shows up and said it did not come from them. They send a tracking number once they give out a package slip, according to what she said.
Yeah that is why all of our orders still show Preparing to ship, even though we have tracking numbers. They do not get their system updated I believe until the phones hit the main U.S Hubs. so if your app shows preparing to ship, then Apple will have no clue on a tracking number.
Mine is due to arrive on friday. Im at work all day and wont be home to receive it. Does UPS Need a signature for them to leave it? What if I change the delivery to my back door?
I thought about having them redirect the shipment to a nearby ups store but that delays the arrival to monday. Cant have that! haha

A signature is required. Changing to your back door does not change that. Route it to a UPS store near you, Most are open till 9pm or later, that way it delivers the same day still.
Gottya.. It sucks that it delays the shipment until monday even thought the closes ups store is 1/2mile from my house. It does say estimated monday if delivered there but maybe they will still drop off on friday. Its only 2 more days but dont know if I can wait all weekend!
Everytime you change it like that, it will show a new date but within a day or two or as it gets closer it will update back to 9/21. UPS and FED EX both always show me a new date for anything I route like that until the system understands its going to the same facility to go out for delivery.
This still applies if the ups store is a small ups store in a strip mall right? Not the actual ups distribution center which is 15 miles away from my house. My ups app doesnt give me the option to hold it at the distribution center only to ups stores near my house.

Every year. Some people end up in an emotional panic over their shipment and will call Apple and put them through the wringer over the status of their shipments. Just wait until a few days before the 21st for the people whose orders don't get checked in properly somewhere; the angst is to the moon.
I agree with what you said. It’ll show up as promised on launch. Apple and the companies delivering the phones rarely mess things up for the customers as far as I’ve seen for a launch day delivery.
Anyone show any movement from China yet? Mine shows scanned in China like everyone else, just wasnt sure if the Typhoon hit in ZhengZhou.
Just did a weather map check and checked the location of ZhengZhou, it looks like the typhoon hit far south of ZhengZhou and doesn’t seem like it was affected.
Well got a tracking number from Apple and ups saying my x max case will be here tomorrow the 18th not the 19th like order first said the 19th by end of day. Looks like one down 1 to go end of week. Maybe get lucky and get them Thursday? I really doubt it
Same here. I've been holding my Apple packages for years, and this is the first time I don't see the option to hold it at my local UPS CC, only stores show up.
Edit: I called them and they made a request on their end for me to pick my watch and my iPhone at my local CC.
