With the iPhone 12 series coming out late, will we have to make an extra iPhone Upgrade Payment before we are eligible to upgrade? Did Apple make an allowance when the iPhone X shipped in October?
When they switched to preorder time to 8am EST, I never had an issue preordering because I was already up for work. I was lucky to be off last year for preorder day and launch day.
for those of you wondering if you’re eligible for the upgrade when preorders start yes. i didn’t get my 12 Pro until October but my phone is eligible for upgrade.
ETA: yes you do have to pay an additional month when upgrading!!

Don't get me started! I'll go off on a tangent that will bore the tears out of everyone. I've had more Jeeps than iPhones over the years! And when I say Jeeps, I mean the short wheelbase 2 doors.
I’ll be upgrading the family to the iPhone 13 pm on T-Mobile and Verizon. Who’s with me? 
Jeeps are cool. But, when is your next camping trip? That's the real question.

Ahhh that sucks. I have a 7 that’s got the busted microphone issue and was thinking about using that as a backup, and just have my airpods with me.. since “release day” isn’t till the 24th, what are you using?
