Lucky you to have a tracking xD

ZhengZhou (China) -> Chek Lap Kok (Hong Kong) -> Anchorage (Alaska) -> Louisville (Kentucky - USA).
@heyyitssusan iPhone might wait for us in China to catch up. CGO > PANC?

Very curious to find out how her iPhone is expected to travel 🧳.

All depends if she gets on board on a early departure flight with other lucky early ones. If she does then it’s definitely going from China to Hong Kong, first.

Nope! You are actually early and lucky. We’re still stuck at processing.
Meh. Mine is also "preparing for shipment," but every year this happens. People will be freaking out by next Wednesday and Thursday because they haven't seen enough movement on their 9/24 iPhones. A few don't even get tracking until the day of delivery.

Correct! I expect to see some activity this evening or later tonight. Expect iPhones to start shipping and traveling out from China on Sunday.

Last year, huge pallets of iPhones missed the flight and there was a slight delay for the iPhones to be out of China on time. I believe it was the #9:20 gang. Believe it or not, Apple had to pull the strings. Make the calls, There was a panic attack there. The Cargolux Aviation team confirmed it with me. For reference see below, please :) post #18,023.

The post below is from last year for iPhone 12 launch. November 2020.

Proud member of the #9:20 gang here.....we had quite an adventure, didn't we? :)

Especially UPS, which can be slow to update during surges.

How's everyone spending their Saturday? I mean, besides refreshing the forums and the Apple Store App for updates every 5 minutes... lol

College football Saturday. NFL Sunday and Monday night. Plus, Monday is iOS 15 day. Tue-Wed is a lillte thin. Thur night football and Star Trek Lower Decks (love that show). Then finally launch day.

Ok, Team Store Pickup - we’re the Road Trippers this year. We have no idea how our iPhones will travel, but we need to be ready when our pickup alerts come in.

We don’t need a lot of luggage, a basic tote or day pack will work for us. We only need to make sure our cars are ready and that we are provisioned properly for our (hopefully brief) time in line.

We have time to consider. Choose wisely!
With you on this. Was wondering...could it be entirely possible that our little babies are already IN STORE....or stateside? First timer picking up in store

Last year I remember. We all lost our UPS tracking after the iPhone arrived to Anchorage, Alaska . Everyone thought it was stuck there but in reality it was sitting at Kentucky waiting for the final destination scan. All the tracking information showed up Thursday night.

I decided to do store pickup this year so I don't need to stalk the UPS truck :). Due to the crazy IUP/Apple Card issues, I lost my 8am pickup time and grabbed one in the middle of the day 9/24. I just had a work meeting get scheduled during my pickup time. Does anyone know if I arrive a few hours earlier or later if I may still be able to pickup outside my specific scheduled window?

I've had iOS 15 for a while now..feels like 14.9 with most of the major features not available at launch

Highly doubt they are in states already as Apple is all about saving money and cutting unnecessary travel costs.

They will all land in states on Tuesday/Wednesday. Including the store ones. Apple stores will get their inventory on Thursday and Apple employees will start assigning them Thursday over-night. Im pretty sure Apple Store employees are working an overnight shift on Thursday. It’s pretty fascinating.

Good morning! I just caught up on the pages here. Checked my choice… no tracking for me yet. I know I’ll get mine Friday but I’m hoping I can pick it up early that day because I need to go into t-mobile and get a new sim.
I was with sprint, went in recently to get a T-Mobile sim, all good. I still have to migrate to T-Mobile plan and asked if I could put my sim from my 12pm into the 13pm when it comes.. nope, it doesn’t work like that. So.. a trip to the store will be needed.
Question, can/should I do the setup to move everything else to the 13 before going in to attach it to t-mobile?

I have a developer account and used to install betas all the time. But I kind of got over that, it occasionally broke apps.

I actually refrained all day from "refresh abuse." 😆
"Preparing to ship"

I've seen this movie before though...it will sit in this status until late Wed. early Thurs....Then "Shipped".
This is when my madness begins.

....actually when I do find a UPS tracking number, (using "reference" around Mon, Tues?)...then I start the refresh every 20-30min abuse..LOL

What I do tend to look at every time at pre-order season is weather!
The weather in Alaska, East coast also.
ugh still endlessly processing. Ordered at 8:01 or 8:02 EST, silver Pro Max 512gb

I'm attending a workshop that doesn't end until 5 and checking UPS every hour. If this one is like last year, I'll see it in UPS tomorrow morning though.
A workshop on a Saturday? What kind of workshop, if you don't mind my asking?

I don’t get it. I ordered 3 phones today on three different accounts from apple.

1st - iPhone 13 pro max

2nd - iPhone 13 mini

3rd - iPhone 13 pro

the last two have moved into preparing to ship and the first one is still processing. Should I panic? I already got the email from citizens one that I was approved for the loan.

why would the first phone be held up?
I would not worry about it. Mines also in processing stage still. Mine is set to be delivered and not in store pick up. My bank account does show a pending charge from apple.

Why do you need to go to t-mobile? Phones comes in ready to activate you just need to turn it on. At some point in the set up process it will ask you if you want to transfer from you old iPhone or back up
