We don’t need a lot of luggage, a basic tote or day pack will work for us. We only need to make sure our cars are ready and that we are provisioned properly for our (hopefully brief) time in line.

If you got this message, what does it mean? Are they sending a SIM-free device instead that can go to any carrier technically?

"We're unable to contact your carrier to verify your account, but we can still proceed with your order. However, this iPhone will not be connected to a carrier plan. You can connect to a carrier on your own later."

I got it on 2 of my lines on T-Mobile and went through with it anyway. Just curious if it's still technically locked to T-Mobile because I'm thinking of maybe switching carriers.

Now I have to adjust my October schedule which was busy to plan on me or my wife being around to receive the phone so even this second grouping is a pain for me. But spending 7 hours that is not good apple you were really screwed

Something interesting just happened, a charge for$151.92 just popped up as push notification on my Apple card, hmmmm. Logged in to check the order on the Apple store, and now I see this!

iPhone 13 Pro Max Arrives Fri Sep 24​


Not sure what to make of it but I guess I am now doomed to play the flight aware- UPS find my order lottery and start wasting many hours plane watching and re-acquainting myself with Incheon and other airports that my iPhone may or may not be on! Not complaining but trying not to get my hopes up as the shipping date moved up a full 4 weeks....

Just checked again: Preparing to ship, Pro Max 512gb Graphite.

I’m going to call AT&T today to request a new nano sim ASAP then. Once it arrives I’ll activate it with my new iPhone 13.

I’m not really digging the esim.

You have to purchase a unlocked phone since my mom has a unlocked phone 12 and came from locked 6s from Verizon and I took the SIM card out of the her 6s and put in the 12 pro and it works just fine. I did the same thing I can from locked 8plud on AT&T and purchased a unlocked 12 pro max and put the SIM card from my 8 plus in the the 12 pro max and it’s working just fine. The best way to by a unlocked phone is through apple

I LOVE going to the Apple Store! Mine is about 45 minutes away though.

Just cut hole in the mask. Problem sorted.

I learned not to alter UPS deliveries unless absolutely necessary. Like some , UPS delivers last thing in my neighborhood. Long wait on Friday.

Also as is always my experience on the post opening day arrival shipping time they often (not always) ship earlier than those dates so if that happens I am gone to rock and fossil show during that window again she will have to be here and then I have to wait til I get home to play LOL. Just curious I have always been able to be here now this is in question but my wife graciously will do that for me.

Is there a thread yet to follow UPS? I need to refresh my skills with flight tracking. I guess this is the thread?
