Something interesting just happened, a charge for$151.92 just popped up as push notification on my Apple card, hmmmm. Logged in to check the order on the Apple store, and now I see this!

iPhone 13 Pro Max Arrives Fri Sep 24

Not sure what to make of it but I guess I am now doomed to play the flight aware- UPS find my order lottery and start wasting many hours plane watching and re-acquainting myself with Incheon and other airports that my iPhone may or may not be on! Not complaining but trying not to get my hopes up as the shipping date moved up a full 4 weeks....

Just checked again: Preparing to ship, Pro Max 512gb Graphite.

The exact thing just happened to me (T-Mobile Pro Max 256GB Graphite)!!

Unfortunately, I was a victim of the IUP / Apple Card issues right when the store opened at 5 AM. I kept trying and trying to no avail (Sept 24 slipped to Oct 1, then Oct 6-11). No way in hell was I going to switch to a different card, so I just left it alone. After what seemed about 4 hours or so, the Goldman Sachs / Apple issues were resolved, and I was able to process the IUP via Apple Card for an Oct 18-25 delivery (expectedly so).

But come to my surprise this morning, the initial IUP charge popped up on the wallet app, and on the store app, the order status updated to "Your order is being prepared for shipment" and...

iPhone 13 Pro Max, delivers Fri Sep 24

Sweet 😎 I knew Apple would find a solution for those that were 1) early and ready 2) in the IUP and 3) had issues with the Apple Card.

Well don’t have Apple card could not ever quality with my pension and some card debt ;-). Anyway while not having the Apple Card issues I struggled to get in and at 5 minutes got to my preapproved setup but it wanted the card info second time as expected and that 1 minute delay moved me from 9/24 to the dreaded 10/6 - 10/11 dates Maybe as long term iPhone upgrade member they will deal with us next? One can hope otherwise I will not be traveling with this group but next

I haven't used the leather Apple cases for a number of years; I've been using the silicone ones, as they seem to be more "grippy". Have the leather cases gotten less slippery over the years? I'm eyeing that Wisteria one... 😍
And the leather ones can begin to fall apart with use sooner. The silicon ones stay like new for years.

Ah, another Sprint person. IPhone 13's do not require SIM's and I am going to TNX (staying on Sprint's Billing keep my plan on Sprint but activating my new iPhone on the T-mobile network loading an eSIM online.) I am doing mine at home sweet home...after a Phone to phone lighting transfer...
I was told all “sprint” people can stay on their plan “for now” but everyone will have to migrate at some point. I discussed plans and found out I’d be paying $5 less by moving now (senior plan).. wish they had told me that months ago when I got the “new sim” I needed for my 12. So anyway I was told bring the phone in and I’d get a new sim and change to the T-Mobile plan all at the same time.
I’m still wondering if I should do the transfer before or after the activation? Maybe it doesn’t matter. I’ll turn it on and see what it says :)
