The exact thing just happened to me (T-Mobile Pro Max 256GB Graphite)!!

Unfortunately, I was a victim of the IUP / Apple Card issues right when the store opened at 5 AM. I kept trying and trying to no avail (Sept 24 slipped to Oct 1, then Oct 6-11). No way in hell was I going to switch to a different card, so I just left it alone. After what seemed about 4 hours or so, the Goldman Sachs / Apple issues were resolved, and I was able to process the IUP via Apple Card for an Oct 18-25 delivery (expectedly so).

But come to my surprise this morning, the initial IUP charge popped up on the wallet app, and on the store app, the order status updated to "Your order is being prepared for shipment" and...

Sweet 😎 I knew Apple would find a solution for those that were 1) early and ready 2) in the IUP and 3) had issues with the Apple Card.

Most people will use this feature once and forget about, me included. 😂

Agree just like all the camera advances in last years 12 Pro, I shoot pics the same way I did with my first iPHone the 3G.

Ordered 5am from Apple, with the Verizon plan. the gold 256gb has shipped the blue 256gb still says processing, but delivery date is still the 24th. Hoping it prepares for shipment soon.

Apple emailed me tracking number for my case this morning and changed status to "Shipped".. Phone is in PFS phase... Just a note -- searching UPS by reference number and using my phone number currently shows the tracking number for my case.

Also like others mentioned -- using the option to pick up at UPS Customer Counter has been removed as an available option in many areas -- even for paid MyChoice accounts. I would imagine that specifying pick up at UPS Store will still add an additional day transit time like it always has -- unless someone knows differently.

Usually it won’t add a day or any delays as long as you make the address change before it hits Louisville for sorting.

I’m not really digging the esim.

Have you had problems with esim? I’ve had it since the iPhone 11, and have had no issues. I thought that when traveling internationally, that it would be easier to pick up a pre-paid sim card locally in whichever country I’m in.

Also, I‘m still trying to convince my IT department to just give me a SIM card to activate as a second line so that I can get rid of that tiny iPhone SE that I use for work. 🤪

Same with me. For the past 9 months or so, I haven’t been able to select a Customer Center for any UPS delivery even with an upgraded MyChoice account.

I *think* I will use the s*** out of it. I want to get a Dolly One or equivalent. Having the iPhone track the focus and refocus when new objects enter the frame could be really fun. Of course, I predict 90% of the time it does exactly the opposite of what I want 😂
