Have you had problems with esim? I’ve had it since the iPhone 11, and have had no issues. I thought that when traveling internationally, that it would be easier to pick up a pre-paid sim card locally in whichever country I’m in.

Also, I‘m still trying to convince my IT department to just give me a SIM card to activate as a second line so that I can get rid of that tiny iPhone SE that I use for work. 🤪
I have not but I prefer the old physical SIM card. It’s just a personal preference. I haven’t travelled internationally so far either.

I was told all “sprint” people can stay on their plan “for now” but everyone will have to migrate at some point. I discussed plans and found out I’d be paying $5 less by moving now (senior plan).. wish they had told me that months ago when I got the “new sim” I needed for my 12. So anyway I was told bring the phone in and I’d get a new sim and change to the T-Mobile plan all at the same time.
I’m still wondering if I should do the transfer before or after the activation? Maybe it doesn’t matter. I’ll turn it on and see what it says :)
I switched from AT&T to a TMobile Magenta Plus for seniors plan last January and saved about $90 per month. In the DFW area, TMobile 5G has been way faster and better than AT&T.

Have you transferred the eSIM through Quick Start onto a new device?
No, never. I used to transfer my esim between two different devices about 5-6 times a month through Verizon chat. I just give them the digital IMEI number, receive the notification on my phone to activate the cellular plan, and that’s it. Takes about 5 minutes for the connection to establish.

I’m so sorry @LFC2020 Haven’t been able to track any flights down to Melbourne, Australia but rest assured your beast/sexy iPhone is coming home.

Go for it! That is the color that I purchased and it supposed to be delivered on the 24th. Maybe it will be an instant buy when you go in to pick up your SEXY? 😂
Won't be able to see it unfortunately, store front pickup only. 🥺 I'm pretty sure the sexiness is going to be off the charts with that little starlight beast. 😳

Might slip the apple worker some 💵 if he'll let me into the store. 🤔😂

What does the 9:20 refer to?
She is referring to the 9:20 crew. Basically infamous 9:20 gang was stuck in China for days. It’s a very long story. iPhone Pro Max launch days. November - 2020.

Stupid mechanical error:

This is where the a 4 day delay was. It was BRUTAL. We were STUCK! Missed the flight just by hours and pallet of iPhones were left behind sitting in China over the weekend.

Interesting. Verizon did tell me that it should be possible to do it through iOS setup now. I switched to eSIM yesterday. I’ll test that on Friday, I suppose.

Reason you can't track it, my SEXY Sierra blue beast, all ridiculous levels of sexiness going on 💙 is already at my local apple store ready for pickup.

😎😜🤪🤩😂

don't go near a esim whatever you do. 😳
Why not? What don’t I know about it?

Regarding the esim. When I start my new 13PM (TMobile), my current physical sim will stop working, and the esim in the 13PM will activate.

What if I do the unthinkable and and decide to return the 13PM and keep my old 12PM? How do I get the 12PM working again without a physical sim to insert? Is it an easy process to transfer the 13 esim back to the 12? Will I have to go TMobile (please, no).

Hang on to your physical sim. If you decide to keep the 12, just re-insert the SIM card. You may have to contact TMobile.

I’ve done same with AT&T.

After last years 920 crew and all.. I’m relaxed this year, but I’d still have fun for a moment seeing tracking. Nothing yet.
plants are watered, monitor picked up (I ended up running it all through my phone app) and had a late lunch. Guess it’s break time, time to hang out with you guys. :)

Yes, if you’re purchasing the phone directly through Apple for your Verizon account then it’ll be all ready to activate from the beginning setup process.
