I noticed the same thing. It won't allow me to have it held at the UPS CC center either. It's not even showing on their map, but it'll show the CVS chemist next door to it lol . I'm going to let it slide and be patient for a late Friday delivery.

You could just e-mail UPS. That's what I did last year to request a hold for pick up at UPS CC near me. I believe it was last year around November is when UPS made a huge changes to their website and removed UPS CC option. But it's there when you call or email.

Don’t you think held to CC option will show up once it arrives to KY?

Yes, sorry about that. I am with ATT and I already had eSIM on my 11. I did have to pick up a QR code from ATT w/the 11, but when I got the 12 and before turning on, I removed the physical SIM and went through the process of setting up. If I’m remembering correctly, during set-up, it asked it I was setting up via eSIM—said yes and it was pretty painless.
Thank you! This is really helpful. So the key seems to be getting a QR code from AT&T before activating the new phone. Did you have to pay $5?

So last year I got ATT 12 Pro from Best Buy as they had blue in stock. Phone came with physical sim in the box.

You seem to be very accurate lol maybe even an hour more than what really happens you said 5 to 6 hours for a scan at 6 pm yesterday I saw it at 10 pm

No, the clerk wound up giving it to me for free. Not sure if it was because I’ve been with them since before they bought out Cingular, but I wasn’t complaining and just said Thank You. However, in the scheme of things, $5 isn’t too bad.

I agree but many people were reporting the scans way before 10PM. I believe around 6-7PM. People started to see the scans :) it just varies. Mine didn’t hit until overnight around 02:00-03:00AM

I never had to pay for a new SIM card with AT&T. I don't think anyone does that $5 thing anymore.

The stores I dealt with told me I had to pay $5 each time I upgraded my phone through the IUP. 🤣🤣

$5 for a SIM card 😳 that's nuts, get them for free here, good thing you held your ground and got it for free.
