Update: CGO >>> ANC

DOA has approved another cargo plane which is expected to depart in 4 hours. This cargo flight will be departuring overnight. I don't think this flight is carrying our iPhones. Expecting Cargolux to show up. Hopefully overnight.

Who here updates EVERY year?? Lol I’m one of those. I tell myself wait but damn I just don’t listen to myself!!
Me 😄 My first iPhone (and my first touchscreen smartphone ever) was the iPhone 4 and I’ve been fortunate enough to get the new iPhone every year on launch day since. You could say it’s the reason I dropped my doctorate career to become an iOS software engineer just a couple years ago, and life is so much better.

Beautiful story 🙏

I prefer old sim because I’m old school. AT&T is sending me a brand new sim out. Overnight delivery! Ayeee!
Nice! I'm with AT&T as well and prefer the physical SIM card. When I looked online it showed the nano SIM being sold out 😮. How were you able to get AT&T to ship you one and overnight?

And by the way, my phone is on the same scan as yours 6:05pm. I ordered the 13Pro 512GB Sierra Blue. Finally decided to upgrade from the anniversary phone iPhone X. I've actually been content with my phone the past 4 years. It's the camera upgrade that got me.

Congratulations on upgrading! Just call AT&T and when you get to speak to a live person. Request, if you can have a new G Nano Sim card sent to you for iPhone 13 Pro Max (Make sure you verify your phone #). Also, let them know if they can expedite the order for you. If you have been with AT&T for a long time... Tell them, you've been a loyal customer can you waive it, please? Mostly like they will. You have to remind them to have it delivered to you overnight.

quick question...is it just AT&T customers that need a new nano sim card or does every carrier requires it? i'm with T-mobile..
Don't think you need it. But my OCD kicked in. I wanted a brand new sim card and didn't want to use iPhone 12. Someone in this thread reported you to need to call T-Mobile and have them send you a new 5G compatibility sim card.

But don't the new iPhone nowadays have eSIM? There's instructions from AT&T on how to activate it.

Yes, they do but I'm old school. I like having a physical sim card.

Square, plastic with a bit of gold in it. 🤔😂
The devil is in the detail.
For those like myself that want a physical sim that can utilize T-Mobiles 5G network fully.

My carrier wants me to go on a more expensive pan so I can get 5G, told them to take a hike 👉

More than happy with 4G 👇

Agree, no eSim for me either. ✋🚫

So sheer curiosity - what's the drawbacks against eSim on a regular basis? I know for myself, there's times I need to test connectivity with mobile data, or just pull it out all together and see how the device reacts, so eSim would totally prevent that. But if you went with a phone that you know you don't need to change the SIM card out, what would going eSIM be that would make it suck?

eSim sounds just shady and sketchy to me. It's a very biased statement but I blame my OCD, LOL:rolleyes:
