Not till you start eating your fruit salad properly with ice cream 😜😂

Honestly got no use for it at the moment, our 4G network is awesome here, plus knowing my carrier, they’ll make it free soon. 😂
Uhhh... I'm on diet. No artificial sugar for now lol

Do you have any idea how happy Tim Apple was when they introduce 5G? You are over here not using it... Come on!

Uhh.. Free is good!

My carrier wants me to go on a more expensive pan so I can get 5G, told them to take a hike 👉

More than happy with 4G 👇

Don’t worry eventually they will bake in 5G to every plan to stay competitive, Carriers that are still charging extra for 5G are doing so because their 5G network isn’t robust enough to handle their entire customer base thus why they ask their customers to pay extra to get early access to it in a sense.

I am SOOOOO happy I was one of the holdouts for 5G on AT&T, then got it kicked in for free. Granted, I'd have to be around DTLA for get the good stuff.

The ultra wideband 5G kicks in for me around Venice and Hill
I honestly wouldn't doubt it's like a triangle of the 10 / 101 / 5. I don't commute anymore, but when I was heading to Phillipe's, I noticed it kicked in right around near Union Station, but then faded away as I headed east once I left. Not sure if it got any better/worse but I was hitting about 115 Mbps. Wish my train commutes back when were that fast on mobile data.

Well folks I'm off to bed soon. Today was a very long day. Probably the longest out of this whole weekend. It feels like we have been waiting for this iPhone 13 forever. I was really hoping we would see our scans. Due to not being able to see any scans a little desperation was setting in. I'm hoping we get to see movements tomorrow.

Two good things happened today. 1st majority of us received our tracking #'s. That alone is a huge relief. Second, people were reporting their Apple card was being charged and they no longer were seeing the pending transaction.

Some people believe we have a delay in scanning. That could be true however, last year for the iPhone 12 pre-order on Sunday we were experiencing lots of activities via UPS scans. Our iPhone 12 made it to Alaska by Monday and then we didn't see any activity by Wednesday evening/Thursday. (This seems to not be the case this year).

I strongly believe we are still stuck in China. UPS may be waiting for all the pallets to show up from Zhengzhou, China so they can all ship it out all at once. It's a high possibility all of us might be traveling together. Tomorrow is another day. I'm expecting lots of scans to hit. There are only 3+ days left (China time). We should be expecting the departure scans back to back. I'm also expecting flight for Cargolux to show up.

Finally, rest assured! All the tracking information will be revealed to us on Thursday night (PST time). Once Apple lifts the restrictions from UPS and sends out a notification to us that our iPhone is arriving on Friday. We will be able to see all the internal scans. We will find out the truth and know exactly what happened on Sunday.

Have a wonderful night and I will see you guys tomorrow with "DEPARTURE SCANS". Sweet dreams!

g'night boop! catch you in the am for updates!

So sheer curiosity - what's the drawbacks against eSim on a regular basis? I know for myself, there's times I need to test connectivity with mobile data, or just pull it out all together and see how the device reacts, so eSim would totally prevent that. But if you went with a phone that you know you don't need to change the SIM card out, what would going eSIM be that would make it suck?
If something goes wrong that can’t be fixed over the phone, you’ll have to go into a store, the last thing I want to do is see them muppets 🤦‍♂️

No sugar for now, I’ll give you 2 weeks tops 😂

They only mentioned 5G about 2000 times during last year keynote, done my head in. 🤦‍♂️😂👇
