I ordered the 128gb option and don't expect to have any regrets. I've had a 64gb XS Max for 3 years and I've only used about 50gb so far. I could probably free up at least 15gb if I wasn't too lazy to go through and get rid of stuff I don't need, so I feel very confident that 128gb is far more than I will use.

I know I'll be missing out on the ProRes format, but honestly...I'm not sure I could tell the difference anyway or would get much use out of it, even though it does sound neat and I'm sure it will be a great option for many people.
Exactly why pay more money for more storage I won’t use maybe once Apple remove the 128GB

I'm a little jealous of all of you who have tracking numbers. I have a feeling those of us who will pick up our preorders in stores are going to be stuck on "Processing" until late Thursday night/early Friday morning. As a major control freak, I would find it comforting to know where all those in-store phones are right now, and if there's any chance for disappointment Friday.
feeling no stress....cant wait to have my sierra blue at 10.00am...definately was the best choice for me...(dont like waking up too early) which is why I selected the 10.00am window...first time store pick up

Just can’t wait until they make it into the US because that’s going to be the most action with planes and the truck tracker

Team In-Store Pickup:

Just got off the phone with my Apple store and was told that I can drop off my 12PM during my scheduled appt. They also said that they will help me setup up the new phone in-store before doing a factory reset. You may want to contact your local Apple store to determine what their policies are for setup and drop-off (maybe all stores will operate the same, but note sure). Have a back-up ready--encrypted on computer or in the cloud!

FYI, to those wanting to pick up their new shiny phones at the UPS depot; sometimes that option isn't available until it clears US Customs.... I can set my pickup spot now on UPS's website but It only lists 3rd party and UPS stores and lockers....

Note: UPS lockers usually don't get filled until later in the day or next, so those don't seem faster.

Once you can pick the depot, it is wise to also call it to make sure they hold. UPS is particularly error-prone when holding. I've had a few shipments to be put on hold there yet they made the truck, didn't get delivered, and then brought back to the depot! WFT.

Thanks. Now you have me wondering about the SIM card. It sounds like the cards are virtual in the 13PM, but if we want the SIM card from our old phone, I'm wondering if I should take it out before the appointment, or if this is something that will be done as a part of setup.

The normal instructions for the mail-in trade-in kit say to take the SIM out before sending, so I imagine trading in-store will be no different and they will take the SIM out before they take the old phone.

Can’t hang out much today (later in the afternoon for sure), but checking in to see how everyone is doing and to leave some love, light, and thoughts of new iPhones on Friday! 🙏🏽💖💫🧘🏽‍♀️📱

Your iPhones are journeying to you even now!! Enjoy your flights! ✈️🗺

I heard there were extra drinks in the lounges, but be careful, don’t want to miss the next leg!

And @Limeybastid behave! 🤨😂😂

If I'm reading correctly, I think that the phones comes with a nano-SIM. The new phones just won't work with a micro-SIM card.

Who’s gonna chase their truck on delivery day

Sadly, I have had to do that several times when UPS was responsible for delivery. My phone notified me that "delivery was attempted" while I was sitting at home, and I immediately ran out to the street to find the truck. I have about a 50% success rate in catching the driver.

Good morning friends! I just caught up with the many pages of posts I missed overnight. My 256gb iPhone 13 Pro is still in China even after being scanned at 4:50pm. I am going to try to NOT check the UPS app every 15 minutes today. Hoping for some movement today!

I also got the email about the 12th payment of my old iPhone 12 Pro loan. I don't have the energy to call Apple or Citizens to dispute it. I just hope in November, they'll refund me 2 payments since I paid earlier last week and that payment wasn't processed in time for the pre-order on Friday where I was then charged another payment for early upgrade. :(

UPS 86 showed up on radar but it’s broken for both Flightradar24 and flight aware ups 99 is also broken for both
UPS 99 is now scheduled for 11:55 eastern i think that’s midnight for Korea
