I don't think this is true. The phones that are unlocked do not come with a physical card, but I bet all others do come with a physical SIM card.
100% correct :)

The reason unlocked versions do not come with a sim because Apple doesn’t know which carrier are you going to use. Every cellular and data carrier is different.

It is! but fedex wouldn't just leave the package without me being there. He needed my signature! ugh I think UPS is going to start that again.

I was such in a hurry when i bought my phone, I applied for the apple card, approved and bought my 256 pro max for store pick up. But I didn't see anything about a trade in every 12 months like I have usually seen. Did I screw this one up? I mean, I doesn't bother me too much as my wife doesn't mind using my old phones when I upgrade. Any advice is appreciated it.

I really want to see that starlight color in person. I ordered the pink iPad mini, but that starlight was calling to me. Some pictures make it look military base boring beige, but others make it look like a fabulous gold/silver blend.
I’m just calling white. Also, to be clear, its iphone mini in starlight, which appears to be different than iPad mini in starlight. I’m a spacegray iPad guy

All iPhones direct through Apple, even if you tied it to your wireless carrier, will come with an eSIM this year.

Not sure about the phones that were purchased direct through each carrier.

Flight UPS99 is scheduled to depart Incheon in 45 minutes. Let's see if the tracking updates.
Keep us posted :)

Rooting and cheering for you to get up in the air. Couldn’t say good byes to you from China since I was asleep and you were on a early flight. Will catch you in Alaska or Kentucky for final good byes. 🥰🥰

Request to speak to a retention department or try another representative. That’s AT&T for you. Sorry.
So I waited on hold for 15 mins and then got thru to a nice lady. She did indeed expedite it. I told her specifically nano SIM for the iPhone 13 Pro. Hopefully they are sending out the correct thing to me. It worried me cuz she kept asking me what phone its for. She confirmed my cell number for it. The order shows the item SIM VAR VAR UICC I 3.

And in other news, my phone is still hanging out in the 1st class lounge with everyone else. Haven't seen any scan activity since 6:05pm. I'm sure by later today we will see some scans though.

Could you post your proof for this, please?

It sounds like you just bought the phone via your Apple Card and are financing it like a normal credit card purchase.

To get the “upgrade every 12 months” thing, you needed to enroll in the iPhone Upgrade Program, which allows Apple Card as a form of payment.

I’d say if you want that option next year, just hand off your old phone to your wife and apply for the iPhone Upgrade Program then, or sell your 12 and pay off the Apple Card balance and then apply for iUP

That’s the exact sim I have. The reason why she kept asking you what kind of phone because she was making sure she is sending you the right sim. Glad it worked out for you.

We are just chilling in the airport and drinking some orange 🍊 and Apple juice 🍎 right now. You are welcome to join :)
