Will ZHCC skip ICN for those who are still there?

Yes UPS changed it last year. You can still request it to be held at UPS CC. You just have to call them or email them. you just have to get the right person because some wont do it. Some will

FedEx Ground is a mess trying to pick up packages at the hubs. They are on lock-down, justifiably, but the ability to just walk in and get your stuff is gone... I had to pre-call, and then show up, wait for 45 minutes, and show my ID, and then wait more. I don't blame them, it's a crazy world, but, things used to be so much easier...

I am really confused... while you all over here in apple.com are posting about your phones being in China still, but meanwhile over in T-Mobile thread we are discussing about a T-Mobile Executive tweeting they already have a huge batch of the new iPhones.

Unless I am missing some key fact that, then its mind blowing that a carrier would have them in their US warehouse before Apple even has them in the country.
That's completely unacceptable.

4 more days until I officially say goodbye to this one. I really hope the trade in credit for this is indeed $790. I took good care of this, no scratch, no dents. In perfect condition. Only used for 10 months and 25 days.View attachment 1839377 still no movements after 4:50pm scan and I am 100% not worried. Our iPhone 13s will be here Friday!!!

I think that's why I've been going naked these past few days.

Apple finally heard me after all this time and gave me a blue iPhone Pro Max. And they knocked it out of the park on the first try!

If for whatever reason (which I doubt) the Sierra Blue doesn't satisfy me, I'll be happy with my Pacific Blue 12 PM. It's gorgeous still! 🥰

My mini says Express Delivery, the phone says Standard Delivery. I assumed the mini was sitting in the US somewhere already as none of my tracking apps have any sign of it unlike the phone which is in my UPS app. It would be nice if FedEx delivered the mini because they deliver here during the day, I already know the phone will arrive at night and I won’t bother with it until the iPad is all set up anyway.

Yeah, who knows. It's still possible to get things literally 'next day' from China, so I wonder if it is a case of them prioritizing the 13, and the iPad Mini will start moving through the bowels of the shipping industry soon. It's hard for me to believe that Apple would have that many iPad Mini boxes waiting somewhere to be birthed on the 24th. At that point, why wait. So many delivery people are going to be handling iPhones. *shrug*

It'll get here when it gets here. I just thought that the iPad was still being made as the release was announced. Again: *shrug*

I suppose a clear case with a few glitters added for modesty is considered nekid by some .

I would be surprised if Apple does not already have iPhone inventory in the States to supply their stores.

Pretty sure he is just trolling, that image has been used far and wide.

The carriers get their phones early because they manage their own stock to deliver to the customers that order directly through them. They need to know exactly how many phones they can offer to sell to their customer base when pre-order begins. That means they have to get their iPhone inventory into their warehouses and internal systems based on their own logistics and distribution setup outside of Apple. For instance, Verizon used FedEx and sometimes UPS. Verizon also has weird ways of managing inventory. That's all an additional layer that has to be accounted for.

How long ahead does UPS flights show up the flight trackers show all the way to 7am Thursday morning but there’s only 1 UPS flight and from Louisville tomorrow when I know there’s more

Its definitely not a troll. He even responded tin a very serious manner to a couple people under that tweet.

@naturalstar explained a couple posts up that the carrier get their phones earlier so they can setup their extra layer of distribution. That explanation does make sense.

Anyways on another note...

However none of us over in the T-Mobile have had our phones shipped yet. Many have gotten shipping labels emailed to them, but none have reported their device being picked up from the T-Mobile warehouse.

We are expecting T-Mobile will likely be handing the launch day phones over to UPS tomorrow. If not, then I would be concerned.

All those Cargolux planes full of iPhones went to all the retail outlets including Apple's. UPS is handling the home delivery ones that we are watching.
