I’m in the same boat. But I had an issue with the Apple Card and the iUP and originally a date of late October but was bumped to launch day the other day. I’m wondering if they have a bunch of phones for people in my situation that weren’t assigned to us from china but will be tomorrow when the regular tracking emails get sent out. Hopefully that’ll be nice and early to wake up to.
I ordered my phone first and had the wonky Apple Card issues, switched to another card and got an Oct 6- 11 deliver range. I wondered if they have some phones in the US that they could ship out, but that date has stayed as Oct 6!

My wife's phone order reported a first day delivery at about 8:10am last Friday (wild guess! those 10 minutes or so were so intense entering and reentering my Apple Card info that I'd confirmed as working just a few days before), a more available color and size I imagine.

iUP and other methods of ordering from Apple had worked great for me, it's been a number of years since I didn't have a first day delivery for my phone! Back when I ordered through ATT I'd get my phone weeks later!

It feels like they have been circling Kentucky for 800 years.
Our plane needs to circle the planet 10 more times before landing in KY.

While we’re waiting on our orders, I’ll ask this here…

In the past, I’ve turned in my old phone at the Apple Store when I picked up my new phone on the iup. This year I have to ship the old phone in the return box because the new phone is being shipped to my house.

What if the company that processes the return of the old phone says it’s unacceptable for some reason, sends my old phone back to me, and they’ve made their decision after my 14 day return period? Am I stuck paying for two iPhones?

I’ve read some nightmare stories from a few about dealing with these IUP returns.
I’ve used Apples trade in program for many years for iPhones, iPads, and Apple watches. I’ve not had slightest problem with it. I did learn early on to take a photo of the shipping label before letting it go.

I haven’t noticed anyone looking out for weather conditions for Friday lol. I could eat some Taco Bell on Thursday night resulting in an overload of methane for the east coast. This would definitely cause ups to delay and come up with their classic your package is delayed because someone blew a fart message. I know everyone has different experiences with them but for me they kinda suck and their actual hit rate is around 75%. Slackers.

Nothing out of the norm. Costco probably kept you busy. I love Costco too, but we don’t shop there too often. We get their gas more than anything else.
It did. But my store manager managed to worked there for 30 years it’s crazy. People don’t leave Costco. Plus they have the best return policy.

Did not even have an Apple Card but the 5 minutes it took to get in to my preapproved order showed 9/24 but by time I re-entered the card info they always re-require it had slipped to same date as you (seems kind of fast) so I am in the 10/6 - 10/11 date range no moving up of that either like in some years when I miss opening day with iUP
