I've changed my mind about the blue fella. It's too similar to Citehs color, felt sick and changed my mind back to silver. 😭🤣
Blue looks beautiful though. I always go after the flagship colors. Thee's something about them.

But Silver is a very nice looking iPhone too!

Quick question: never pre-ordered before, planning on ordering directly from Apple unlocked. I am currently on a road trip with the family (more of a meandering move), but will be in Atlanta next Friday.

When I place my order, I assume I can request to pick it up at any Apple store?

Right now, I have the graphite 256gb pro max ready to go, but I am so indecisive about that Sierra Blue. Can't decide if it's more on the feminine side or not. (I'm a guy, obviously....) Thoughts? Would probably be rocking a black case anyway.

I’m a guy and I’m getting Sierra blue. It’s not feminine unless you contrive it to be.

Can't even register. So I don't know what the issue is, Whether its with T-Mobile or Apple. But I like to get my approval in for the IUP.
If I exit the Veterans and Military store and go through the pre-order "paperwork" I get the same message. It just means that you'll get an iPhone without a sim (neither physical nor esim). So you'll have to contact your provider when you receive your iPhone. The good part is that should be able to set your new iPhone up before doing so. (I'm guessing).

When I went through the motions with my wife's number, her account was recognized, while mine was not.

Your milage may vary.

I’m part of the upgrade program through apple.

last year there was several months delay for the new iPhone, it didn’t come out until November. So people on the upgrade program had to pay an extra two months as we waited for the new phone.

This year the new phone is on time, but technically only 10 months have gone by, not the one year required by the upgrade program to be eligible to upgrade to a new device.

I got an email from apple though saying I’m eligible to upgrade now as part of the program.

Did apple fix the timing problem caused by their delays last year? Or at some point during this ordering process is it going to make me pay an extra fee to cover the extra two months? I assume the latter, even though it said I was eligible. And if so it seems unfair because last year we all paid an extra two months because of the delay, which means in total they’ll have billed us for an extra 4 months or $400 all because of their own delays.
If my understanding is correct, you'll have to pay one more month, this year, before you can upgrade.

My info came from here. Check the iPhone 13 pages.

If I preorder to pick up in store, can I trade my phone in in-store? I don't really want to have to send my phone in, but I can't find an option to save the preorder where it doesn't say I have to ship it in. I don't want to not preorder a phone and risk not getting one on release day.

I work for at&t 📱and I work from home. I have a reputation among my colleagues that I don’t work on iPhone days. 🥳
Im the oddball that usually doesn’t use my vacation til I’m about to lose it.
And I see that I’m going for the Gold PM 128gb, which seems one of the least popular configuration. Pacific Blue would have worked, but no pastel blue for me, or a black black phone.
I initially wasn’t bowled over by the keynote, but this phone has enough tweaks and improvements to be worth it.
And if I’m going to always be paying for a phone, might as well be the latest phone.

This guy here has a good video that is worth a watch about this.

Should be about 171 hours til I have in hand! 🕰

If anyone is on the fence of upgrading or not upgrading. 9to5 wrote this great article. It’s worth checking out. 5 fascinating reasons to upgrade.
  1. Sierra Blue and pink iPhones are now a reality

  2. The iPhone 13 is all about cameras – really

  3. Twice the storage for the base and the higher models

  4. iPhone 13 has better battery longevity than any other iPhone

  5. It’s all about the deals

Bottom line: The iPhone never looked better. You still get a smaller notch, better 5G, more resistant smartphone, and more.
