I didn’t get to see San Mateo. I explored San Francisco and Oakland. Went to an A’s game. I wanted to see the Giants at that terrific ballpark, but I didn’t make it there.

You would have loved it…amazing views that bring tears to your eyes…when not cheering for the Giants 😄

Everyone here's got my FOMO going about AW7. Wasn't going to upgrade this year, but just maybe. Safe travels out here to LA/Long Beach/OC areas and we can't wait to see your epic 📸 .

That's a total bummer. I had one for in-store pick up at 1:15 pm slot (That was the earliest). I got there 12:45 PM and they just sent me to go inside. I was in and out in 3 minutes lol. There was line for walk in's but there were no lines for in-store pick ups.

*Still waiting. Snails are faster than this UPS guy.

I was going to just head over to Apple to give them this phone, get the trade in refunded later. It seems like the stores are just packed today...long lines, only open until 7pm. I shouldn't be shocked though.

When my Silver 13 Pro Max arrives, I am going to unbox it and live with it for maybe 1 hours and then I am going down to the Apple Store and see first hand the Sierra Blue and decide which I want to own. The Silver is so nice looking and I think I would not grow tried of it. Not so sure about having about an all blue phone.

I loved the Silver 12PM so much, that I went with same for the 13PM. Stunning! 😍

Definitely keeping the Coolwee (just said like oooooweee! lol)

The 3rd is nice, but I will wait for the Velvet Cavier to show up. I’m funny about my sparkle.

The Peel case arrived today as well. It’s going back. I have used similar cases for cheaper. It’s also slippery. I bought the soft shell case so maybe that was the difference.

Picked mine up a UPS CC right at open. In previous years, before UPS changed things, there used to be lines but not this year. Just walked right in. Had it all setup within an hour and already shipped my trade in back to Apple. I was shocked at the size of the shipping box (coming from an 11 Pro). Had to open it right away in the car to make sure the iPhone was in there!

Pick up at CC isn't readily available as an option online/app when you change your delivery location. It might have been this thread or the iPad one, but there was a link to an article about it.

Apparently UPS wants to close CC's in favor of UPS stores and other 3rd party stores.
Removing the option on the website/app to pick up at CC artificially inflates the notion that no one want to pick up at the CC.

Well duh if you can't pick it, and don't think of emailing/calling, then yeah less and less will use that option!

If it‘s between the Walnut St store or Ardmore or Cherry Hill, I’ll always choose anything other than Walnut St. I get that it’s convenient for most, but it’s insane in Center City.

I thought so too, but it refuses to activate on the esim and I have been on the line with Verizon for over an hour now. The very same thing happened with my iPhone 12, took 2 hours to get that one resolved. It even picked up my number during setup, but no signal and refuses to activate.

Just move the SIM over from your old phone unless you really want to use eSIM.

I am in the north west suburbs and UPS is horribly slow around me. Always like 5-6 o’clock it seems they come around while FedEx is always before 10 am…go figure.
