I signed into my Verizon account and started a chat.
- I said I wanted to activate a device. It asked me the line/number in question and I selected my 12 Pro Max (I only have on line on my account.
- It asked me if the device had previously been used on this account and I clicked no.
- It then asked me for my IMEI (Can be found by going to Settings > General > About. Make sure you are looking at the IMEI under the eSIM section)
- It then asked me for my SIM number. This is the same as the ICCID. (Also found in Settings > General > About, under eSIM)
- It then proceeded to activate the number.
It didn't activate for me at first since my phone was on the whole time, so I had to reboot my phone. After a minute or two, I had service,
so I would recommend writing down both the IMEI and ICCID of the eSIM and then powering down your new phone before attempting the activation.
The automated system worked great and I was back in business in about 5 minutes!
