Unless you're going to keep the phone for 7 years it's probably just added stress and complexity for marginal real gains. But of course you should do whatever you want with your things. I'm more in the 'just use it' camp.I set up a shortcut to play a sound when charging reaches 80% so I can unplug. I’ll occasionally charge to 100% when I need to be out all day. Otherwise, I try to keep it between 20-80% (where lithium ion batteries are stressed the least). It’s the same advice that’s coming from maintaining electric vehicles too.
