I checked with Apple and they said no signature required! Turns out the driver felt “uncomfortable” leaving it on my porch or back door. First package from Apple that I’ve had this issue with. We got a new driver on our route.
Not sure what you are talking about. I have never received an iPhone that did not require a signature. In my case, had to be there to tell the delivery drive my full name. If I was not there no delivery would have happened.

My driver told me they were being required to “make contact” when delivering the iPhones, even though no signature was required. It would have been good if this had been noted by UPS, as it’s not typical when signature isn’t required.
Was originally a 9.24 but got bumped to 10.4-6. Now in preparing to ship!
So frustrating. I’m not holding my breath, but I wonder if there’s still a chance it will be delivered today.
They don't send the tracking numbers out, but just log in to your phone order and it will show the trade-in-kit and will have a tracking link. Or go to the ups app and track by reference number(phone number).
My UPS guy comes to the door, says what's your last name, I tell him, he hands me the phone and says I will sign for you in my truck lol
My trade in kit states already in Las Vegas and to be delivered Monday morning.
