My husband doesn’t get it either. Lol. He upgrades when forced, either by obsolescence or damage, and not one second sooner. I’m trying to get him to upgrade his 8+ right now because the earpiece is dead, but he just uses earbuds instead.

My good lady won’t use a new app let alone a new phone unless the thing dies.

I like to update every two years at least.

My driver told me they were being required to “make contact” when delivering the iPhones, even though no signature was required. It would have been good if this had been noted by UPS, as it’s not typical when signature isn’t required.
I ran down the stairs and driveway to get mine (house is on a steep hill) and he just handed them to me.

Terrible experience at my local Apple Store. A total of 5 lines inside and outside before you can speak to someone. Everyone in line had a reservation window, and we obviously all passed our windows since it took 2 hours and 15 mins from start to finish. Once inside, my specialist disappeared to chat with her co-workers and when she finally checked my QR code to call for my item, it took another 15 mins before someone arrived from the back room (only one person working the back room retrieval, so he had everyone’s devices in his giant pile when he emerged from the back). To top it all off, the specialist activated my new phone from her device without telling me, so my current phone’s service shut off and I couldn’t call an Uber to get back home.

So random with the signatures. Yesterday the driver just simply gave it to me, no signature. This has only happened just one time in the past (8 Plus). I've had to sign for all other iPhone deliveries.

Yup. My mom told me that yesterday cause when she opened the door the driver handed the package to her, so he must’ve known it was an iPhone. Typically they just leave it and run

my iPhone arrived on time yesterday. is it normal to have the limited warranty expiring on 22nd September next year? Shouldn't it be September 24?

The decision to have launch day on a Friday compounds the difficulty of many of our botched UPS deliveries. Some UPS redeliveries and CC pickups can happen on Saturday while most seemingly cannot. How many days should one be held hostage on standby for UPS?

Three, apparently.

My iPhone 13 Pro was just delivered! UPS dropped it off at the wrong house. Thankfully a kind neighbor showed up at my door with my phone. What the heck UPS! Either way, so glad it finally arrived because I didn't think I would see it until Monday.

My wife ordered a 13 Pro (Sierra Blue) from the local Apple Store today (yay!) for delivery.

The delivery window was like... 10:30 - 12:30. It didn't say "out for delivery" until 12:36.

Then it said delivered... no phone. We don't know where it is. :( We called up Apple and the first rep we spoke to told us to (of all things) call UBER? (Do they even use Uber as a delivery service?) Guy didn't even give us a number to call, nor a reference ID or anything. Super confusing experience. Annoyed, we asked to speak to a manager. He was much more helpful, we ended up getting transferred to a sales rep after him and they gave us back the $9 delivery fee (which is nice I suppose), and opened a "Shipping Investigation" on the issue. We may not hear anything until Wednesday at this point she said. :\

Has anyone else had something like this happen? I would have thought delivery would want to check the purchaser's ID before handing the phone over, like at the store itself.

Has anyone else had issues with scheduled, from-store delivery? Obviously we're kinda... annoyed/stressed right now. Like, if Uber/DoorDash screws up the worst case is we re-order a burrito or whatever. This is a little bigger than that. :\

it’s a beast and i love having bragging rights ☺️
lol, not about bragging rights for me, always use to hear from android users, only reason why the iPhone has better battery life is because it has a 60hz display, well it just smoked them with 120hz and a smaller battery 😁😎 Drops the mic and exits the room. 😎👇

Will Verizon charge me an upgrade fee? My iPhone 13 Pro is unlocked from Apple and all I did to activate was remove the sim from my iPhone 12 and put it in my 13 pro. my phone is fully activated on VZW but I didn’t get any message that I would be charged a fee.
