So I’m going to sell my 12 PM to a friend for the remaining part of my iUP loan. I am aware that if I don’t send the 12PM back in the trade-in kit I’m getting in the mail, after roughly 14 days my loan will resume. Should I wait until my loan resumes to call and pay it off, or is it okay to do it now? Or does it not make a difference?

Apple received my trade in about 1:00 p.m. today. Just got the email below. That was fast.

Also, I hope that everyone who is still awaiting their iPhones gets resolution soon. While logistics issues happen, seems like getting things resolved shouldn’t be so complicated.

Ordered Graphite 13PM 1TB morning of preorders (got in about 6 minutes late) and my order fell into the 10/6-10/11 range. What are the chances of receiving sooner than that or at the earlier end of that range? I’ll be out of town starting the afternoon of the 6th and won’t get back until evening of the 10th… Would love to have my phone for my trip. Order still sitting at processing, your order will be available soon

Missed the deliveries including “final attempt” by UPS on Monday. The status has remained “Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date.” since then. I managed to find the UPS driver today and he said if it was final delivery attempt they will return to sender the next day. Of course when I called today they said they’d call back… which they never did. So I’m not sure what to do at this point

Yep same boat, same tracking completed in China but no movement shown after that. Heck my trade in box is shipping via UPS not FedEx and it has tracking all through UPS system and arrives tomorrow. If tracking is working for that why is not our phone tracking working for at least Louisville (with customs, departure, arrival) and then locally for our local UPS which should show it is here, loaded on truck, soon out for delivery. I am retired but I have things to do like pick up grandson M-W from school, meaning wife has to stay here and she is a retired but now substitute TA at local schools — not that she works regular but would have done some but has to be here while I get grandson. What good is UPS with this kind of crap it should be updated already if not here that dates have slipped and they do not know but that would look bad for them, would piss apple off let alone us.
I hate to say it, but your date on Apple hasn’t reflected UPS (even though UPS is most accurate), but your original delivery date has already moved up substantially from the original dates! I think a lot of people with your original dates would be extremely happy to have their orders moved up.

Biggest complaint so far with iP13PM is buggy software; which is expected in the X.0 release. Overall, works well and yes the screen refresh rate is all that…even though it’s still apparently not running at capacity

Although spending most of time on the 10/6 to 10/11 thread our phones had started shipping on Saturday but were stuck in China with some issue after all scans done. They have left ZhengZhou and arrived in Korea about hour ago. So the journey to Louisville is underway. And they should be there tonight for sure. So the arrival at my house on Thursday is feasible given I am only few hours from Louisville

Was your iPhone also stuck in China for a few days? From September 25 till today?

Was originally a 9.24 delivery, then a 10.4-6… got an email this morning-delayed again to 10.14-21.

Anyone that bought the 13 PM, what do ya think after almost a week of ownership? Personally, I love mine.
I absloutly love my 13PM. The battery lasts a lot longer and the 120hz screen is just smooth compared to 12PM. The cameras are amazing too! Still playing with them to see all of the potential they have. I just haven't had the time to try them out more. Hopeful that I have time this weekend to keep playing with the camera.

Mine is still stuck 😞
Dang that sucks what is going on. Several have seen movement there maybe your scan was just missed and its in same pallets leaving Korea hour and half ago that mine is on!!! Let’s hope for the best.

I reported this on the 10/6 to 10/11 thread the batch of phones that left China and arrived in Korea have left Korea! Even figured out the flight it left Korea on but have not (for curiosity sake) figured out a flight that matches the time from China to Korea that it took in tracking. Maybe special flight UPS chartered?????

Ok we have departure at 9:44 PM KST, a UPS plane left about 18 minutes after that. Pretty likely that is the plane UPS99. I also found that a bit over hour after it arrives in Anchorage there is a. UPS flight to Louisville that arrives at
10:51PM EDT Wed (third screen dump) noted in red circles. Once again tracked my plane down, something only obsessive apple iphone nerds do while waiting for new toys LOL.

Was able to drop off my mom's iPhone to ATT for the iPhone 13 Pro trade in offer. I've heard nothing but horror stories about ATT losing trade in phones and not applying discounts. So hopefully that takes care of that.

Dropping off my old iPhone to FedEx for Apple to accept the trade in for the iUP program. Heard Apple is generally better about accepting these than the cell phone carriers. Hope that's still true!

So now that I am the nerdy pastime of guessing planes my phone that left Korea a few hours ago and thought I had a flight match with original time of departure I got a later scan from UPS (and official scheduled delivery of tomorrow afternoon). The scan shows a later departure time and a mysterious Customs aprproval/ clearance by government agency which I got Saturday in China. I am curious what is going on just as a fun way of learning, but has anyone here who got their phones and they came through Korea seen this? Is it just a repeat of final approval by China in system with UPS? Something Korea does? Or weirder thought yet UPS got customs approved early for this batch of phones because we sat for 4 days in China after all scans were done? Just wondering what I am seeing its certainly a truely first world problem (not problem just my one curiosity LOL)

Here is from the app it clearly says customs clearance I usually never see that except with arrivals at Louisville

Update to my iPhone 13 odyssey (not that anyone really cares, but it's therapeutic for me 😁).

I got an update from UPS a little after midnight that my package had cleared customs and had been cleared by a government agency. Other than that, I had no clear idea now if my phone was in Louisville or ZhengZhou.

I called UPS International Shipping a while ago and spoke to rep there. He checked on it and said that there had been some sort of "miscommunication" in Louisville with some of the packages, but that my phone had been cleared and would soon be departing Louisville.

I asked him why the tracking had previously shown my phone to be at my local hub last Friday and he said that my package had been "logically" scanned, not "physically" scanned. Hoo boy.

He said hopefully tomorrow, but maybe Thursday.

Any updates today?

I'm in the same flight as you! My iPhone is moving finally!
I see the same Customs clearance and I'm not sure if that is US customs or China's or Korea's.
