All done by 5:05am, Pro Max 512GB Silver delivers 9/24. My Apple Card wouldn't go through for some reason so in a panic I had to grab another card, but that worked. YAY! Back to bed, congrats everyone!

Same .. might have to do with the IUP.. had to scramble for a cc because the one I had stored was erased this am.. It happen last year also on the 12 release

Placed an order for 9/24 delivery for two 256GB Pro Max Sierra Blue.

I ran into a problem during checkout — I had 2 pre-orders (1 on iPhone upgrade program, and the other one using Apple Card monthly installments). The Apple Card preorder completed without issues. However, I couldn’t complete the iPhone upgrade program pre-order (grueling 60 to 90 seconds) as I continued to receive an error - your card cannot be accepted (Apple Card) that just worked fine for the Apple Card preorder. After 3 failed tries, I used another card and my upgrade program preorder went through- phew!

My question is — should I have paid the 12th installment before today’s launch day order? Trying to understand so I don’t run into this issue for future preorders, thanks!

For anyone that ordered their phone linked to a T-Mobile trade in, does your confirmation email say anything about the extra $200 or $500 credits we should be receiving? mine doesn’t, it just lists the Apple trade in value. Just wanna make sure I didn’t miss the boat here. :/

I don’t know how it works exactly, but you will get a code you have to use later.. and have to be on the right plan/magenta etc to get it. There are details in the info somewhere about it

Well that was annoying. It wouldn’t accept my Apple Card for payment, kept telling me there was an issue so I had to swap to a different card to get it purchased. Seem to still have a launch day delivery so not the end of the world just annoying because of the 3%

I had the same problem with my Apple Card.

What a train wreck. As part of iUP I expected to use my Apple card to check out, but it kept failing, not saving the card. Finally put in my AMEX and it worked, but WTF Apple.

If you are IUP you needed to prequalify then no card info is needed. You just bought on you AMEX

Got the 13 Pro Max with a 9/24 delivery date.
I did the pre-order setup which created a pre-order bag ready for check out. My Apple Card was already authorized so all I had to do was click Checkout. Easy.

What the holy hell. I was pre-approved, like normal, for the two phones I have on the iUP on Tuesday. I get through my first order fairly easily. For some reason I had to go copy my Apple Card number from the wallet, but w/e. I next go on to my partner’s phone, go through all the same steps and it tells me there is an issue with my card number...I had just pasted it in the previous order. I went back to the wallet and copied it again, just to be sure. It was kicked back again. After the third time, it came up with a message telling me I wasn’t approved for the iUP order…I was so confused. I have great credit and have been with the program for 3 years. I went back to “For you” page on the app and my pre-order was sitting there “Complete your pre-order.” I ran through it, used a different card, and it was completed with release day shipping. I don’t know why my Apple Card gave me an issue; I barely carry a balance. I can’t imagine it had anything to do with already having an iUP payment on it because I‘ve had both phones on my Apple Card this past year. Anyone have any ideas? Think it was just a glitch?

It will show up. Mine come and go. Actually one of the two hasn’t shown up at all yet! I have the order number though.

Done. 1TB Sierra Blue 13 Pro Max and a 512gb same model. Odd that it wouldn’t let me choose in store pickup for the 1TB, but I could choose in store pickup for my wife’s 512gb. Also, I had to enter my credit card number: I made sure that was correct last night.

I did graphite 1TB and in time I had to enter full credit card info it wanted again (even though it checked all that during the pre-preorder process) it slipped from showing 9/24 to all the way to October 6-11 I guess they did not make many 1TB in that color I assumed there would be plenty.

Ordered a iPhone 13 Pro Max ATT and got confirmation at :03:17.

Did anyone else get the “complete your pre order” screen pop up when the store went up and then it went away?

I opened the apple store app at :01 and I saw the screen come up and it just went away. Quickly scrolled to see if I could find my pre setup preorder to just finish it but didn’t see anything so went through the order like normal and Was able to finish and get release date delivery.

I wish the pre order I had set up in advance would’ve worked but either way I got release date so I don’t really care. It was a good idea from apple but I assume load issues is why it didn’t work for me.

Mine went away too. I think it was just server pressure because my app froze too but I was able to close/reopen it and use my preapproval info

Same!!! I was about to throw some hands ? used my wells and was able to get it though. Super weird too. It said my upgrade program was not approved randomly but after using my wells it went through. Definitely a glitch.

That was the worst preorder experience w/ the app yet. How does an Apple Card not work on the Apple app??! Had to go with another card instead, which took 5 times reentering the numbers to actually work.

My wife thinks I'm a loon now w/ all my screaming and carrying on. ?

Order placed (Apple store app waiting, spinning circle went on for a good minute...) I THINK it went through, I have order number...No email yet after 8 min. Apple. com gives me this "Bad Gateway" page. No idea, the site may be bogged down

Will schedule In Store "appointment window" for next Friday to give back this 12 Pro Max and get $$ back.

NOW....as always, get ready for the longest 7 days of our lives. LOL

Welcome back everyone! Was able to get checked out fast. I knew to grab my CC card early because like last year it wanted a manual card input (despite pre-approval). Also the place to finish the preapproval was not on the home app screen but on the FOR YOU page. So a little different. Anyhow, good luck everyone!

I ran into the same issue too! The preorder showed up for a hot sec, then disappeared. I had to click on FOR YOU just to reengage it. Damn near panicked when it disappeared so quick! lol
