The order I placed still doesn’t show in my recent orders screen but I have the email and order number.

I’m tempted to go though with the pre order one but I don’t want to get charged twice and now it’s being delivered oct 4th

My 2nd order is like this, and my card hasn’t been charged yet either. But I have the email and order number for it.

I have to say that I'm very disappointed with Apple. I preordered the day of the keynote. Like others, I couldn't connect to apples site until 8:15. I couldn't access my preorder until 8:25. Now I have a delivery date of 8/4-8/9. This is the first year that I won't have it on launch day.

Took a full 20 minutes for me on the app. Error after error. Even the final Apple Pay screen “timed out” twice after about 2-3 seconds.

Also tried the desktop website at the 15 minute mark and still couldn’t get in.

Finally placed at 5:20am. 15 PM 1TB Natural. Oct 4-9th delivery date. I’m hoping that date gets refined to be sooner…

Are delivery dates slipping faster than usual? Either demand was high or Apple had lower expectations. Also it was hard to get on the website for the first half hour.

Well, THAT was a harrowing order experience. The store didn't come up for me (East Coast) until about 8:10, the purchasing process (through Apple Pay) bogged down 4 or 5 times, and when I finally got the order through, my options were Apple Store pick-up on 9/22 (yay!) or delivery Oct. 4-9. Phew! A close call. Seems the Pro Max in natural titanium with 256GB was a popular model!

App finally started working around 8:08 EST for me and I was able to checkout in 2 minutes thanks to being able to setup before hand. 15 Pro Max 256GB in Natural and AirPods Pro to be delivered on launch day! I'm just hoping that UPS isn't stingy about me pre-signing for the package. I'll be flying home from a work trip that afternoon and 2 years ago for the 13 Pro, the driver left a note on the door without ever knocking or anything. Thankfully I live in an apartment complex and I was able to track him down 2 units over.

SO, app continued to error out trying to get pre-order info. Web site started working so used that.

Natural titanium 256 Pro Max showed as arriving 22 SEP but when finished order said October 3-4!!! (We leave October 2nd for vacation so NOT GOOD)

Finished black titanium no problem and that is arriving 22 SEP.

Placed 3rd order for white titanium and that also is fine arriving 22 SEP.

Will cancel the natural titanium order once that's possible.

I would have been better off just ordering w/o doing the pre-order thing since the hold-up was getting the pre-order info. A new order was super fast anyways, so, lesson learned for following years.

This is same issue for me, and my iPhone app would not even open to the store til 30 minutes past. The ipad app opened at 10 past or so got to the checkout it worked, then click place order and the iPad app failed with big error and I could never get back like you Finally I logged in to the store website on macbook and like you found the preorder thing (not in obvious place) finished on the website and got my email and all 7:15 AM CDT (5:15 am apple time) This is the worse experience with the iOS apps in 3 years of preorders ad the pre preorder setup.

I think I was the first person on here to get one through! Just went Natty Ti, 256GB (since I don't really go below 200GB lol) and 6.1" Pro because I've had too many Pro Max's and I'm not a fan of the larger size.
